NFL Week 3 has plenty of teams looking for their first win of the season and the New York Giants fall into this list. In Week 2, the Giants could have come away with a victory however they were without a kicker. The Giants weren’t able to convert on two-point conversions. Meanwhile, the Browns came away with a fortunate victory in Week 2 against the Jaguars. Browns had 13 penalties called on them and only converted two third downs! Can the Giants keep this game competitive? Below is my New York Giants at Cleveland Browns Preview and Predictions.
As I mentioned above, the Giants are one of many teams that are winless. Are there changes brewing within the Giants organization if they continue losing? Meanwhile, the Browns won their first game of the season in Jacksonville. Was it a fortunate win? Possibly, if you checked the box score in that game.
The Giants did sign Greg Joseph this week to be the kicker after Graham Gano suffered an injury last week. Can the Giants keep this game close or will the Browns offense stifle the Giants offense?
Giants at Browns Preview AND Predictions
Best Bets
Thus far this season, favorites of six or more points have struggled to cover the spread. In fact, this season, favorites of six or more points are 0-8 ATS and 4-4 SU. So if you took the moneyline on the dog catching six or more points, you’d be very profitable early this season. However, the question becomes can you trust the Giants offense to keep this game competitive?
The Browns have not looked impressive to me. In Week 1 the Browns got blown out at home and in Week 2 I believe they got a fortunate win. Furthermore, since the 2018 season, teams that have lost their first two games and are underdogs in Week 3 are 23-14 (62.2%). I believe the Giants keep this game close and at minimum cover the spread here.
Best Bet: Giants +6.5
