Best Bet For Tuesday (August 20th): MMA Predictions

Dana White Contender Series: Cam Rowston vs Torrez Finnez

Start Time – 7:00 PM EST

Torrez Finney is one of the few fighters this season to get a second chance to make the roster. He won on last year’s version of the show in dominant fashion with a rear naked choke. After the fight, Dana expressed doubts about his ability to finish a fight with strikes and opted not to sign him. He went back to the regional scene and promptly finished his next fight with a devestating overhand right that went viral.

Being that this is Finney’s second chance at the roster, I can’t imagine he goes back to the style that didn’t get him the contract last time. In addition, he has far more knockouts on his record (six) than he does submissions (just the one). With all that being said, we can get Finney, who is -360 on the moneyline, at even money for that knockout finish.
