We continue our Fantasy Football Previews with the 2024 Las Vegas Raiders. First question, Who will be the Las Vegas Raiders’ starting Quarterback? In this episode, I review ESPN’s projections for the Raiders from Mike Clay. We also used Sleeper’s Averaged Draft Position (ADP) to talk about their fantasy football outlook. Mike’s fantasy football finish projections vs. the average cost can give us an idea of each player’s fantasy football value.

Las Vegas Raiders Fantasy Football Preview: Who Will be the Raiders Starting Quarterback?

Mike is split on this one, he has Gardner Minshew starting 9 games. Last year we saw Gardner Minshew start and succeed with the Indianapolis Colts. His familiarity with the coaching staff and system made him a logical backup. He turned the opportunity into a big pay day by almost taking the Colts to the playoffs, following a 4-Win season. Minshew kept Michael Pittman alive for fantasy and Josh Downs shined as well.

At Running Back, the team has moved on from Josh Jacobs. This is a huge change and Zamir White takes over the backfield. We are used to Josh Jacobs being a workhorse, but will the Raiders move to a committee? It’s very possible Dylan Laube or Ameer Abdullah could syphon off a lot of receiving work. Mike has Zamir leading in carries and targets. He should be able to provide consistent top-24 RB production in fantasy football.

The quarterback is going to effect the wide receiver position. Right now people are nervous about these pass-catchers because of the unknown. This is baked into the ADP for each of the players. Based on Mike’s projections, Adams is the only player you want to draft. There is some excitement for Brock Bowers, but he also is not being highly drafted. Mike has him finishing as the tight end #12, right around where he is getting drafted. Let’s look at these Raiders and talk about their 2024 fantasy football outlook.
