Old-Fashioned Football was joined by Savage and Cooke distiller Dylan Carney. JMark, Mir, and Dylan talk about everything from food to glassware, and of course whiskey. Dylan highlights Savage and Cooke’s two new offerings, Howling Mob Bottled in Bond Bourbon and Bloody Butcher Bottled in Bond Bourbon.
He talks about the different corn varieties were used in each of these as well as their first wheated-bourbon, which has the same mash-bill as Pappy Van Winkle.
Dylan talks about life as a distiller, how he got his start, and some of the cool experiences he’s had. From touring with Scottie Pippen to his days making absinthe in Scotland, you won’t want to miss this amazing podcast! It was full of interesting facts, some laughs, and of course, great whiskey!
