All College Baseball Bets Are To Win 1 Unit

7:30 PM -115 Oklahoma State at Texas -115

PROBABLE PITCHERS

Oklahoma State: Sam Garcia SR LHP (4-3, 3.70 ERA, 82 K, 10 BB, 58.1 IP, 1.80 SIERA)

Texas: Max Grubbs SO RHP (4-4, 3.44 ERA, 36 K, 10 BB, 52.1 IP, 3.90 SIERA)

Texas has inverted their weekend rotation of starting pitchers. To head coach David Pierce’s credit, the Longhorns are just two games back of the conference lead. However, Texas has lost the first game of the weekend series SEVEN weekends in a row. Thus, UT has been throwing their third most talented SP on Fridays.

Oklahoma State has a sizeable starting pitching advantage. Add in the Cowboys’ recent hot streak (19-6) since getting their best player, Nolan Schubart, back from injury. Since returning on March 19th, Schubart is hitting 34/88 (.386). In the Pokes’ last game on April 30th, the Michigan native blasted FOUR home runs. He is a game-changer, and OSU has been one of the nation’s best teams this season when Schubart has played.

9:30 PM +100 Cal vs USC -130

PROBABLE PITCHERS

Cal Opener: Austin Turkington SO RHP (1-0, 3.60 ERA, 17 K, 6 BB, 20 IP, 3.43 SIERA)

Cal Bulk of Innings: Luke Short Grad LHP (3-2, 5.25 ERA, 39 K, 16 BB, 48 IP, 4.28 SIERA)

USC: Tyler Stromsborg SR RHP (2-8, 5.55 ERA, 42 K, 14 BB, 48.2 IP, 3.87 SIERA)

Although sportsbooks won’t state it, this isn’t a “true” home game for USC. Southern Cal is remodeling their baseball stadium and is not playing any home games on campus this season. Friday’s game will be played on UC Irvine’s campus.

I don’t think this game is priced properly as Cal has the better SP on the mound and the much better offense. USC’s offense is quite poor (84 wRC+) with a .740 OPS. The Bears have a 111 wRC+, with an .885 OPS.

Luke Short has been really good for Cal lately. If the Bears can build an early lead, Short could get us into the late innings with a chance to win this one.

+100 Cal ML (DraftKings)

8:00 PM -130 Texas A&M at LSU +100

PROBABLE PITCHERS

Texas A&M: Ryan Prager SO LHP (8-0, 2.59 ERA, 80 K, 9 BB, 59 IP, 1.59 SIERA)

LSU: Gage Jump JR LHP (4-1, 3.62 ERA, 63 K, 16 BB, 49.2 IP, 2.46 SIERA)

This play had to be included in the college baseball bets article just on principle. If you like CLV, this should be your favorite play. The #1 team with their Ace on the mound is playing a team that has underperformed expectations this season and is not starting their Ace. Many people will jump on this play before first pitch on Friday. The Aggies should close around or North of -150 in the NCAA Baseball gambling market.

However, I am listing this game last because it does seem like a trap spot for Texas A&M this weekend, and Friday is the only day I would advise betting on the Aggies. Alex Box Stadium is one of the best home environments in college baseball. A&M has tripped up at least once in all three of its SEC road trips.

For this one Friday game, put faith in the country’s best offense, which has a top-five pitching staff. The Aggies have a 1.032 Team OPS, 139 wRC+, and a weekend bullpen ERA of 3.40. Gimme the Ace and the top options from the pen to book the win in Game 1 this weekend.

-130 Texas A&M ML (DraftKings)
