2024 NFL Mock Draft – Ryan Kramer Final Mock Draft
# | Team | Pick | Pos | College |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Bears via CAR | Caleb Williams | QB | USC |
What many are calling a generational talent, and unlike last years 1st round pick he is over 6 feet tall. | ||||
2 | Commanders | Jayden Daniels | QB | LSU |
Kingsbury, the Commanders and Jayden Daniels just seem like a match made in heaven, the highest of ceilings and the lowest of floors. | ||||
3 | Patriots | Marvin Harrison | WR | Ohio State |
Maybe this is a trade down to a QB needy team or maybe the Patriots view the elite WR talent at the top of this class hard to pass up on, Marvin Harrison Sr. out there in the Owner's box w/ a Patriots jersey is what im here for. | ||||
4 | Cardinals | Malik Nabers | WR | LSU |
I think this could end up being a trade down as well, but doubtful it's too far as it seems likely the Cardinals grab a WR or OL at the top of the 1st round. | ||||
5 | Chargers | Joe Alt | OT | Notre Dame |
I think if Nabers falls, this could be a decision, as the Chargers hosted Nabers for a pre-draft visit. BUT this is Harbaugh, they brought in a bunch of later round WRs on visits. Harbaugh drafts the consensus #1 OT. | ||||
6 | Giants | Drake Maye | QB | UNC |
Brian Daboll finally gets his fresh clay to work with, former 3 sport star provides a combination of Josh Allen & Justin Herbert, YES PLEASE!!! | ||||
7 | Titans | J.C. Latham | OT | Alabama |
Originally I had Fuaga here but the more I dug in the more it seems that the Titans prefer a more traditional LT, I expect Latham to be the pick here as he has been steamed into the top 10 in the better markets over the last 2 weeks. | ||||
8 | Falcons | Byron Murphy | DL | Texas |
EVERYONE who is "plugged in" seems to think Murphy is a lock to go top 10 just like Jalen Carter was last year, weather its a trade up or its the Falcons sitting here and making the selection I love the big fella outta Austin. | ||||
9 | Bears | Rome Odunze | WR | Washington |
The more I've thought about what the Bears could do here the more it seems like it's either gonna be a pass rusher or another weapon to add to this now HIGH POWERED attack. LOVE the fit with Moore/Odunze manning the outside with Kmet & Allen causing havoc over the middle. It's the new look dome Chicago Bears. | ||||
10 | Jets | Taliese Fuaga | OT | Oregon State |
I mean this has to be the pick, then need OL help and Fuaga could be the impact lineman of this draft. Now would it be funny if they draft Bowers, yes. But I just can't seem them passing on one of these lineman. | ||||
11 | Vikings | JJ McCarthy | QB | Michigan |
Not sure if he falls here organically, but I do think there is a better chance of that happening than people think. JJ to the Vikings seems like one of the worst-kept secrets of draft season, the question just becomes when. | ||||
12 | Broncos | Terrion Arnold | CB | Alabama |
Love the Bama CB pairing here with Surtain/Arnold...Peyton says I don't need a QB I have a Stitham and a Wilson. | ||||
13 | Raiders | Quinyon Mitchell | CB | Toledo |
With the division rival Denver Broncos taking CB1, the Raiders pick up a player who was the DOG at Senior Bowl practices and plays with the attitude and demeanor that might remind the HC of his playing days. | ||||
14 | Saints | Olumuyima Fashanu | OT | Penn State |
The Saints need an OT and some feel Fashanu has the highest ceiling of the guys not named Joe Alt. Easy pick here for the always-competing New Orleans Saints. | ||||
15 | Colts | Brock Bowers | TE | Georgia |
Not sure I can have Brock Bowers fall any further than this. Plus how fun is the idea of this offense in their second year with Joe Flacco at the helm, just kidding, well not really. | ||||
16 | Seahawks | Troy Fautanu | IOL | Washington |
There is a clear connection being drawn here between his college OC, who is now with the Seahawks, and Fautanu, who is an injury slide candidate. Fautanu seems to have a floor on this pick. | ||||
17 | Jaguars | Brian Thomas Jr. | WR | LSU |
Suprise Suprise, the Jags were shocked to not retain Ridley and reached a bit to secure someone who would step right in and add that deep element that Ridley provided last year. (Could this be an Aiyuk trade destination?) | ||||
18 | Bengals | Jer'Zhan "Johnny" Newton | DL | Illinois |
Reports are they LOVE Newton and at pick 18 this will be looked back on as a steal at 18. | ||||
19 | Rams | Dallas Turner | EDGE | Alabama |
Rams could really use some help on the DL with the retirement of Aaron Donald. Shockingly Dallas Turner who at times was believed to be a top 10 pick, Falls to McVay at 19. | ||||
20 | Steelers | Cooper DeJean | CB | Iowa |
From the black and yellow of Iowa to Pittsburgh in what is such a perfect fit. Tomlin adds another young dog to his DB room. | ||||
21 | Dolphins | Laiatu Latu | EDGE | UCLA |
Dolphins need help on the OL & DL, they get a steal here assuming their medical team has cleared him. | ||||
22 | Eagles | Amarius Mims | OT | Georgia |
The Howie Roseman system, draft the best player from Georgia. Mims could be the next Lane Johnson, fitting he will learn how to take steroids (allegedly) directly. | ||||
23 | Vikings via CLE & HOU | Jared Verse | EDGE | Florida State |
Assuming they haven't dealt this pick for a trade-up, Verse falls into their lap and gives Brian Flores a replacement for Danielle Hunter. | ||||
24 | Cowboys | Graham Barton | C | Duke |
IF the Cowboys don't trade down the clear pick to me as this board has fallen is Graham Barton out of Duke who provides some versatility with experience playing multiple positions along the line. | ||||
25 | Packers | Kingsley Suamataia | OT | BYU |
Might be seen as a reach, but GB has always done their own thing when it comes to drafting, and rarely are they not drafting premium positions in the 1st round. | ||||
26 | Buccaneers | Nate Wiggins | CB | Clemson |
As much as they need DL help I think Bowles and team will see the value as we haven't seen CB3 go off the board until now. | ||||
27 | Cardinals via HOU | Jordan Morgan | OT | Arizona |
Its believed that the Cardinals like Morgan and if they don't go OT early in the draft I like them to keep the University of Arizona product at home and secure their offensive line as they look forward with Kyler. | ||||
28 | Bills | Adonai Mitchell | WR | Texas |
Do they trade for Aiyuk? If not it's gotta be a WR, this I'm guessing is the top guy on their board here, Rebuild starts now. | ||||
29 | Lions | Kool-Aid McKinstry | CB | Alabama |
Investment in the backend of the defense seems needed and plus the idea of Dan Campbell talking about Kool-aid is what im here for. | ||||
30 | Ravens | Demeioun "Chop" Robinson | EDGE | Penn State |
Ravens always take the guy who slipped, this year it’s pass rusher Chop Robinson. | ||||
31 | 49ers | Tyler Guyton | OT | Oklahoma |
Trent WIlliams isn't getting younger and I would imagine Guyton is the top guy on their board. | ||||
32 | Chiefs | Ennis Rakestraw Jr. | CB | Missouri |
They just lost Snead to the Titans, seems obvious to run it back with another 1st round CB for Spags' stable. |
