Saturday was our worst day of Underdog Fantasy. Rory was gutless as usual, and Scottie missed his prop by a stroke. The best part about losing a slip is that we always have tomorrow to place another one. The course will be form, but there will be scoring chances! Let’s take a look at some of my favorite Underdog Fantasy plays for The Masters on April 14th.
The Masters Underdog Fantasy Pick ‘Em Plays – April 14th
Ludvig Aberg R4 Leaderboard Position Lower Than 5.5
Ludvig is making his presence felt in his first career major. The young Swede has posted a very impressive stat line to this point. He is leading the field in strokes, gained ball striking, and 2nd in putting.
He hits the ball extremely solidly and plays a very safe style of golf. Ludvig is not a golfer. You need to worry about playing out of the trees or making a bonehead decision.
He has a great caddie on the bag who has a ton of experience. I expect him to put another nice round together and be part of the storyline. He is a great option to start your Masters Underdog Fantasy pick ’em for April 14th.
Tyrell Hatton Higher Than 72.5 Strokes
Hatton is on the record for hating Augusta National Golf Club, and the course will not play any easier in the final round. Hatton is currently three over par and shot a 73 in round three.
What I love about Augusta is that you can hit a perfect shot, and it will end up in an awful spot. Hatton is an absolute head case and cannot deal with these breaks. They are inevitable around this place and happen on a round-by-round basis. Tyrell Hatton is a talented golfer, but I do not see him playing a good round in these conditions.
