College Baseball Picks – Friday, April 12th
The College Baseball Experience (@TCEonSGPN) of the Sports Gambling Podcast Network give out their College Baseball Picks for April 12th. On the show Colby Dant (@TheColbyD) and Noah Bieniek (@NoahB77_) give out their College Baseball best bets and break down all the big games on the NCAA Baseball weekend slate.
The SEC features another weekend series between Top 10 teams #6 Vanderbilt and #3 Texas A&M. Ryan Prager (6-0) looks to deal against another tough opponent. Meanwhile the Vandy Boys are countering with a solid arm in their own right Bryce Cunningham (4-1). #4 Tennessee also hosts the struggling and defending national champions LSU. Tigers Head Coach Jay Johnson is attempting to play chess against checkers by switching up his weekend rotation. Will it work out against the SEC’s best offense?
Swayze Field is featuring this weekend’s biggest series the Governor’s Cup, the Egg Bowl on the Diamond, Mississippi State at Ole Miss. On paper the Bulldogs have the pitching advantage and the Rebels have the better lineup. Ole Miss has not won a weekend series in Oxford against Hail State since 2015. Can the Rebs buck the trend? Outside of the SEC, the Sun Belt has a fun series between Coastal Carolina and Georgia Southern. It’s a matchup of styles where the Eagles rely on their solid rotation. The Chanticleers can swing it very well. Also, the current Big West leader, UC Irvine, takes on the defending conference champion, UC San Diego, in what has the makings of an outstanding series to finish off each night of the weekend.
Dant and Bieniek talk all of the above and more on this weekend’s The College Baseball Experience episode.
