Conference Championship week has been absolutely hectic thus far. We have seen a few upsets, a few blowouts, and a few crazy endings. We have a nice slate on our hands this afternoon and beyond. Here are the college basketball picks for March 14th.

College Basketball Picks March 14th
Kent State vs. Toledo (-5.5) (O/U 151.5)
These two MAC teams are known for playing absolute barn burners for the last few seasons. They have been back and forth for years, but Toledo comes into this one with the better squad. This Rocket team knows they cannot take Kent State for granted, as they have a ton of talent and scoring ability.
Kent State will look to run and gun out the gates, which could be a tone-setter for the game. If Kent State gets the early bunch in, we will be off to the races.
I am expecting an extremely fast-paced game where both teams go on mini runs and feed off each other. Toledo will get the job done, but I feel more comfortable with the total than the side. Let’s take a look at the points here.
The Pick: Over 151.5
Miami vs. Akron (-8.5) (O/U 134.5)
The Zips could not have ended the season on a worse note. They had the one seed at their fingertips but dropped three of four games to lose the top seed by one game.

Akron has had some time to decompress and take a breather after the tough finish to the season. They are the best team in the conference, in my opinion, and these losses could have been good for them.
They should be refocused, fresh, and locked in to move on in this tournament. Akron has what it takes to blow out Miami and win this whole thing. Ride with The Zips here.
