NFL Week 15 Referee Report: Betting Stats and Trends
John Hussey
John Hussey has been one of the two most profitable referees EVER. In fact, in his career, home teams are covering the spread at a 56.7% clip. Just alone this season, home teams are 7-2-1 ATS (77.8%) and 8-2 SU (80%).
This week, Hussey is assigned to officiate the Saturday night matchup when the Denver Broncos will visit the Detroit Lions as a 4.5-point favorite!
Best Bet: Lions -4.5
Shawn Smith
I usually have an “MVP” referee each season, and this year, it may just be Shawn Smith. Thus far this season, the road teams have found plenty of success with Shawn Smith as the lead official. In fact, this season, road teams are 6-3-1 ATS (66.7%). Furthermore, if the road team is an underdog, those teams are 4-1 ATS (80%).
This week, Shawn Smith is assigned to officiate the Sunday Night Football game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Jacksonville Jaguars!
Best Bet: Ravens -3
Land Clark
Land Clark is another NFL referee I have mentioned several times on the Referee Report this season. Another referee who has been favorable to the road teams. In fact, this season, road teams are 8-3 ATS (72.7%). Furthermore, road favorites are 4-2 ATS (66.7%) this season.
In NFL Week 15, Land Clark and his crew are assigned to officiate the NFC South battle between the Atlanta Falcons and the Carolina Panthers.
Best Bet: Falcons -3
