Week 15 Saturday Games Underdog Fantasy Pick Em’ Flowchart
Core Plays
The core plays are going to be my favorite plays this week as your base foundation to start your pick-em entry to maximize. This week, there are two projections I would love to get the Underdog Fantasy Pick Em entry started.
Michael Pittman Jr. Higher Than 7 Receptions
There’s no secret that Michael Pittman Jr. is the workhorse and target machine for the Colts. In fact, Pittman Jr. has been at least double-digit targets in five out of the last six games for the Colts. Furthermore, Pittman Jr. has at least eight receptions in six straight games for the Colts offense. I expect the targets and receptions to continue to be there for the Pittman Jr. I love this projection to go higher for the NFL Week 15 Saturday games Underdog Fantasy Pick Em’ contest!
Jaylen Warren Higher Than 17.5 Receiving Yards
The Pittsburgh Steelers will visit the Indianapolis Colts in a pivotal game for playoff positioning. The Colts have struggled this season against the running back position, and I expect the Steelers to take advantage. On the season, the Colts are allowing opposing running backs to average close to five receptions per game for 43 receiving yards. In this matchup, I am looking for Warren to take advantage and get higher than 17.5 receiving yards.
Furthermore, the Colts have allowed 14 different running backs to go higher than this projection. Additionally, in 12 of the 14 games this season, an opposing running back has gone higher than this projection. I love Warren to get involved in the passing game against the Colts and accumulate the yards through the air!
3x Multiplier
Sam LaPorta Higher Than 47.5 Receiving Yards
Another area that the Denver Broncos defense struggles with is defending the tight end position. In fact, this season, the Broncos are allowing the second most receiving yards to the tight end position. In six home games this season, LaPorta is averaging 5.3 receptions per game and 52.7 receiving yards in that span.
Furthermore, the Broncos have allowed an opposing tight end to go higher than this projection in five out of the last six weeks. I love this projection to go higher for the NFL Week 15 Saturday games Underdog Fantasy Pick Em’ contest!
T.J Hockenson Higher Than 52.5 Receiving Yards
The Minnesota Vikings will be starting Nick Mullens at the quarterback position, and I expect Mullens to target Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson heavily in this matchup. Thus far this season, the Bengals are allowing the most receiving yards to the tight end position. Hockenson has been no stranger to targets this season in the Vikings offense.
Just last week, Hockenson was targeted eight times for five receptions and 53 yards. The Bengals have allowed six tight ends to get over this projection. I expect Hockenson to feast against the Bengals’ defense.
5x Multiplier
David Montgomery Higher Than 66.5 Rushing Yards
Despite the Broncos’ rush defense gradually improving over the past several weeks, I expect the rush defense to struggle against the Lions on Saturday. On the season, the Broncos rush defense is allowing close to 125 rushing yards per game and teams are attempting to run it on an average of 23 times per game.
David Montgomery is getting the bulk of the carries for the Lions’ rushing attack this season. Over the last five weeks, Montgomery has rushed 67 times for 385 rushing yards, averaging 5.7 yards per carry. I love this matchup for Montgomery against the Broncos and his projection to go higher than 66.5 rushing yards for the NFL Week 15 Saturday games Underdog Fantasy Pick Em’ contest!
Jake Browning Higher Than 22.5 Pass Completions
The Cincinnati Bengals have a new life with backup quarterback Jake Browning, who has led the Bengals to two straight wins. Browning has been throwing the football well for the Bengals, and I expect that to continue against the Vikings. Since Week 10, the Vikings have allowed the second most completions to opposing quarterbacks.
In fact, since Week 10, three out of the four quarterbacks the Vikings defense has faced have gone higher than 22.5 completions. I expect the Bengals offense to let Browning throw the football in this game. I love this projection to go higher for the NFL Week 15 Saturday games Underdog Fantasy Pick Em’ contest!
10x Multiplier
Courtland Sutton Higher Than .5 Rec + Rushing Touchdown
There’s no doubt the Broncos love to target Sutton in passing games, especially in the red zone. Thus far this season, Sutton has 10 receiving touchdowns for the Broncos including a touchdown in four out the last five games. In a game that should see plenty of points being scored, I expect Sutton to find the end zone once again.
