We’ve finally made it to conference championship week! There’s a lot still undecided regarding the NCAA playoff picture. Here are three conference championship week best bets to bring us across the finish line for the 2023 season!
Conference Championship Week Best Bets and Picks
Washington to COVER +9.5 points against Oregon
Washington has beaten Oregon already this season – who’s to say this one won’t play close again? Oregon is the worthy favorite here, but 9.5 points is too wide of a margin to take the Ducks at.
Bo Nix is a great quarterback, but Michael Penix Jr could be even better. If Penix plays like he did in the first meeting, Washington could win this game, and Penix could secure the Heisman.
Michael Penix Jr. has led one of the country’s most prolific offenses, becoming the first #Pac12FB team in the Pac-12 era to go undefeated in conference play. 💪

Texas to COVER -14.5 over Oklahoma State
Texas needs a big-time statement win on Saturday to make a case for a playoff spot. They are currently on the outside looking in but feel worthy of a place in the playoffs. A lot of the scenarios are out of their control – but a beat-down of Oklahoma State would go a long way in making a case for the Longhorns.

Iowa and Michigan to stay UNDER the 34.5-point total
Here’s a boring one for the last conference championship best bet. Hawkeyes’ games have only gone over twice this season and haven’t gone over at all in the past five games. This 34.5-point total seems low – but it’s the highest one that Iowa has seen in a long time. Michigan has no reason to run up the score here – they just need to avoid an upset by getting on the scoreboard early, running out the clock, and letting the defense do the work.
