The NBA action continues on Thursday night, and I am coming off a 2-2 night getting hooked on the Thunder team total on Tuesday. The Thursday schedule has only two games on the schedule, but there is a play I like for each game. Below are my NBA Picks for the November 16th games!

NBA Picks November 16
Brooklyn Nets vs. Miami Heat
Tipoff – 7:30 pm EST
Spread: Heat -3.5
Total: 215.5
These two teams matched up in Miami on November 1st, where the Nets came from behind and got the victory 109-105. Tonight, the rematch is set again in South Beach. The Heat come into this game with a poor ATS record at home. In fact, last season, as the home team, the Heat were an abysmal 21-30-2 (41.2%). Further, as a home favorite, the Heat were 15-26-2 (36.6%)
That trend has continued this season, where the Miami Heat are 0-4 ATS. In addition, the Nets are 9-1-1 (90%) ATS this season and 4-1 (80%) on the road. The Heat will be without Tyler Herro in this game, who is dealing with an ankle injury. Herro scored 30 points in the previous matchup against the Nets this season.
I expect this to be a gritty and tight game and for the Nets to continue dominating against the spread.
Best Bet: Nets +3.5
Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Golden State Warriors
Tipoff – 10:00 pm EST
Spread: Thunder -2.5
Total: 227
The Oklahoma City Thunder will look to avenge a loss they took earlier this season against the Golden State Warriors on a “controversial” no-goal-tending call on a game-winning layup by Steph Curry. The Warriors will be without Curry in this game tonight, who is dealing with a knee injury.
Additionally, the Warriors will be without Draymond Green, who is serving a five-game suspension for his role in the altercation against Rudy Gobert and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Despite the previous matchup skyrocketing over the total, I am expecting the Warriors to be locked into this matchup. Since the 2020-2021 season, the Warriors’ offensive rating has fallen by five points without Curry in the lineup. Further, since the 2020 season, when the Warriors are a home underdog, the Under is 18-8-1 (69.2%). Lastly, the Thunder have the best defensive rating on the road this season.
Best Bet: Thunder/Warriors Under 227
YTD Record: 8-2 (80%)
