You can find our dynasty trade value chart, and you can find my updated dynasty rankings on sportsgamblingpodcast.com. Here are some more tips on rebuilding your dynasty teams. This is a fun time, and you can do a lot right now to improve your teams in either direction. The best advice is to be active and to not forget this is a dynasty. Sell off all pieces that can’t help you next year, and sell high when you can! Check out these Dynasty Trade Candidates: Players YOU Should be Selling!
Getting the right value can always be difficult; don’t be afraid to use some charts or calculators to compare. I also like to look at rankings, as you can find a lot of info on Twitter or Reddit regarding values or trade examples. But do not get greedy. We want a 2024 1st for every player, but you won’t get that for everyone. Last year, people wanted a 2024 1st for Dalvin Cook but turned down a 2024 2nd. Now he is droppable. This happens every year.

Dynasty Trade Targets: Players YOU Should be Selling Now!
Dynasty Trade Candidates
QB, Jared Goff – Detroit Lions
Trade Examples: Goff for 2024 1st + 2024 2nd; Goff + 2024 3rd for 2024 1st; Jared Goff + 2024 3rd for Jordan Addison + 2024 2nd; Jared Goff for 2024 1st
Jared Goff is an interesting study, as his value has peaked and vallied a few times. He is a young quarterback on a great offense. It appears that he has some job security, so why is he a sell and not a buy? He could be both, but the reason I am selling is the timing. It is much easier to sell off of a big game, and you can always get better value. This was not Goff’s best game, but his first QB1 game in four weeks.
Goff had his best game of the year, and he has just been okay all season. Goff brings no rushing upside. He has hit 300 yards in 33% of his games, and only twice has he thrown for three touchdowns. This team runs the ball well and leans on it in the red zone. Goff is an inconsistent option, and you can get a 2024 1st minimum for him right now in superflex leagues.
QB, Sam Howell – Washington Commanders
Trade Examples: Howell + 2024 2nd for 2024 1st + 2024 3rd; Howell + Singletary for Quentin Johnston + Zach Charbonnet; Howell for Deebo Samuel + 2024 2nd; Howell for 2024 1st
Sam Howell currently leads the league in passing yards. He also leads the league in sacks taken, and the team is 4-6. The numbers are good for fantasy but not for winning games. I am nervous about his job security, and anyone who has him can cash out with profit right now. You likely got Howell in the third round of your rookie drafts, and he is going for a first now. Keeping him is definitely an option. He is not a must-sell.
I would look to sell while I can just because I think the value could change a lot. This is a team with new ownership, and there could be sweeping changes this offseason. Howell is a day-three pick, and the team could easily replace him. He could also find himself in a new system if the coaches are let go or if Eric Bienemy were to leave. You could sell him for a lot more than you paid, or you can hold to see what happens next year. Your call.
Honorable Mentions: Baker Mayfield, Joshua Dobbs, and Gardner Minshew
RB, Brian Robinson – Washington Commanders
Trade Examples: Brian Robinson + Tank Bigsby for 2024 1st ; Brian Robinson + Noah Brown + 2024 2nd for 2024 1st + 2024 4th ; Brian Robinson for 2024 2nd + 2025 2nd; Brian Robinson for Tyjae Spears + 2025 2nd
Another player that could see a lot of change this offseason on the same team. Robinson’s value was on a steady decline, and he showed signs of life all of a sudden. This season has been inconsistent. Take advantage of an outlier performance. Robinson had an outlier game in the passing game and finished as the overall RB1. This time next year, a new coaching staff and other changes could really drop his value. Sell now while you can.
RB, Alvin Kamara – New Orleans Saints
Trade Examples: Alvin Kamara + DeAndre Hopkins for Garrett Wilson + Jerome Ford; Alvin Kamara for 2025 1st; Alvin Kamara for Zach Charbonnet + 2024 2nd; Alvin Kamara for 2024 2nd + 2025 1st
Alvin Kamara has been tremendous since returning from his suspension. If you are a contender, you can’t trade him. But if you are not a contender, he needs to be on the move. He is a free agent in 2024 and will be 29 in July. His value can only go down from here. Anyone who has him knows how low it was this offseason. It has bounced back considerably; don’t miss your opportunity.
Biggest Risers in Fantasy Football Heading Into Week 11: 📈
(Trade Targets and Breakouts)
— Snoog’s Dynasty Society (@FFSnoog) November 13, 2023
Veteran Running Backs
Trade Examples: Derrick Henry for Michael Pittman, Derrick Henry for 2024 1st, Derrick Henry for 2025 1st; James Conner for 2024 2nd plus 2025 3rd; Joe Mixon for Cooper Kupp, Joe Mixon for 2025 1st; Gus Edwards for 2024 3rd + 2025 3rd; Gus Edwards for Tyjae Spears
Kamara is not the only veteran you should be trading. Derrick Henry, James Conner, Aaron Jones, and Joe Mixon are all guys that you should consider. Cheap rentals like Gus Edwards, Kareem Hunt, or others can help you get draft capital and/or young back. I moved Gus Edwards for Tyjae Spears, plus a third in a league where Edwards was my 5th back, and I have Derrick Henry.
Honorable Mentions: James Conner, Joe Mixon, Aaron Jones, Ezekiel Elliot, and Gus Edwards
WR, Deebo Samuel – San Francisco 49ers
Trade Examples: Deebo Samuel for 2024 1st; Deebo Samuel for Najee Harris + Courtland Sutton; Deebo Samuel + David Njoku for Keenan Allen + 2024 1st
Deebo Samuel continues to miss games, which has been a theme in his career. He had a monster in 2021, and people will still pay for it. It was really, really good and got him paid. Last season, Deebo missed four games and only had one top-12 finish. In 2023, he has two finishes inside the top-12. Deebo has already missed two games on top of two finishes outside the top 100 wide receivers. He is a wide receiver who continues to be boom or bust.
WR, Courtland Sutton – Denver Broncos
Trade Examples: Courtland Sutton for Treylon Burks; Courtland Sutton for 2025 1st; Courtland Sutton + Alexander Mattison for 2024 2nd + 2024 2nd
Courtland Sutton gets the prime-time bump. Sutton has also been hitting weekly with touchdowns in four games in a row, 7 of 9 games this season. This team has already discussed moving him multiple times. This is another team that could see a lot of change this offseason. I am always a fan of selling a player who is getting most of his production from touchdowns. Courtland Sutton has only received 6 targets twice this season. Once was last night.
He has had four or fewer catches in five of his nine games. In that same time period, he has only gone over 50 yards four times. When the touchdowns dry up, he will be a player you can’t start. Go try to trade him high before they do. Go take Sutton plus another player to package and trade, or get a pick for him.
Veteran Wide Receivers
Trade Examples:
Trade Examples: Keenan Allen for 2024 1st; Keenan Allen + 2nd for George Pickens 2025 2nd + 2025 3rd; Davante Adams for 2024 1st; Tyler Lockett for 2024 2nd; DeAndre Hopkins for 2024 2nd + $50 FAAB
The league is packed with young talent at the wide receiver position. It is hard to sell Keenan Allen, Davante Adams, or DeAndre Hopkins if you are a contender. But, if you are not a contender, you should be shopping them. Look at how fast A.J. Green and Julio Jones lost value. It is better to be a year early than a year late. Trading for a young player plus a pick or a good draft pick will help you replace them for years.
Dynasty Age Apex by position:
QB (29)
RB (25)
WR (27)
TE (28)Really hard for players to gain value once they pass the apex.
— David J. Gautieri (@GuruFantasyWrld) May 26, 2023
Honorable Mentions: Amari Cooper, Brandin Cooks, Adam Thielen, and Cooper Kupp
TE, Taysom Hill -New Orleans Saints
Trade Examples: Taysom Hill for J.K. Dobbins; Taysom Hill for a 2024 2nd ; Taysom Hill for a 2024 3rd; Taysom Hill + 2024 4th for 2024 2nd
I don’t think there is a more obvious sell in dynasty, but Taysom Hill is it. This week was a down week; don’t let the opportunity to sell slip away. This is a 31-year-old utility player who is fun, but his dynasty value will never be this high. The need at tight end or even in some superflex leagues, he has value, and you should move him. You can move him for a few thirds, or maybe a desperate team gives you a second. I would use him as a piece to go get an upgrade.
TE, Jake Ferguson – Dallas Cowboys
Trade Examples: Jake Ferguson for 2024 2nd + 2024 2nd ; Jake ferguson for Josh Reynolds + 2024 1st ; Jake Ferguson + 2024 3rd for 2024 1st
Jake Ferguson is a buy and a sell. If you need a young tight end, you should be buying or holding. In most situations, you were not relying on Ferguson, and he is an extra piece. His value has tripled since the beginning of the year, and you could cash out. Using Ferguson plus a pick or another player to tier up at the position. If you have a Mark Andrews or LaPorta, you can use him as a piece to tier up at other positions.
Honorable Mentions: Evan Engram, Logan Thomas, Jonnu Smith, Georgie Kittle
