This point total is set right at Jalen Brunson’s season average – 22.5 points per game. I’m taking the lower on this for a few reasons. Firstly, this is the second night of a back-to-back for the Knicks, as they played at home on Sunday and will be in TD Garden in Boston on Monday night. Plus, he’s playing the Celtics and their killer backcourt. And he’s gone lower than 22.5 in two of his last three games.
Scottie Barnes – Higher than 19.5 Points
Scottie Barnes is having the breakout season that the Raptors and their fans were hoping for. But he’s gone lower than 19.5 points in two straight games. Before that, he topped that amount in six straight games. And I think he’ll start up a new streak on Monday, as he’s playing at home against the NBA’s worst defense, the Washington Wizards.
Evan Mobley – Lower than 9.0 Rebounds
Evan Mobley is averaging 10.1 rebounds per game. However, he’s only grabbed 10 total in his last two games (five in both games). And he’ll be going up against rebound-inhaler Domantas Sabonis on Monday, who’s averaging 12.9 boards per game. Plus, the Cavs played in Golden State on Sunday, so it’s back-to-back for them.
