Week 10 Friday Night College Football Picks
Boston College (50.5) at Syracuse -3
Saying this is a get-right spot is an understatement here for the Orange. We played them midweek last week, and it was a loss from the jump. They have an extra day of rest here and match up against another bottom-of-the-barrel ACC team.
Boston College just barely got by one of the worst FBS teams, UConn, last week, so this will be a test for them. Shrader and Co put up 32 points on this Boston College defense last year. I would expect a lower-scoring output this year, but an Orange cover nonetheless.
The Pick: Syracuse -3
Colorado State (42.5) at Wyoming -6.5
The Mountain West is an extremely fun conference and two middle-of-the-pack teams matchup in Laramie. Calling Wyoming a “middle of the pack” Mountain West team may be a tad disrespectful, especially at home. Wyoming is 5-0 at home this year, with wins against Texas Tech and Fresno State. Coming off the rough loss in Boise, I love The Cowboys in a primetime bounce-back spot.
Colorado State has been competitive this season. Their comeback win against Boise State turned the heads of the entire Mountain West. That win was the start of a gauntlet in their schedule, playing the top teams in the conference consecutively. Finishing that stretch against a hungry Wyoming bunch in a crazy environment is not a recipe for success.
The Pick: Wyoming -6.5
