Underdog Fantasy Daily Pick’Em Entry – October 24
Brandon Pfaadt – Higher than 1.5 Earned Runs Allowed
Arizona will be running out Brandon Pfaadt to the hill for Game 7, and they should feel confident with that choice. He’s put zeros on the board in his last two starts (and three of four and four of six). However, I think Philadelphia will come out guns blazing at home for this game and will get on the board early. Higher than 1.5 earned runs allowed for Pfaadt it is.
Ketel Marte – Higher than 8.5 Fantasy Points
Next, let’s go with the blazing-hot Ketel Marte to go higher than 8.5 fantasy points. Through 11 playoff games this year, the second baseman is slashing .375/.400/.625, and he’s topped 8.5 fantasy points in two of the last three games in this series. Plus, he historically hits Game 7 starter Ranger Suarez well – in 20 plate appearances, Marte is slashing .444/.500/.556.
Kyle Schwarber – Higher than 7.5 Fantasy Points
Finally, let’s back one of Philadelphia’s big boppers, Kyle Schwarber, to go over 7.5 fantasy points. He has five homers in 12 playoff games this year and is slashing .250/.377/.659. And he’s gone for 28, 22, and six fantasy points over his last three games, and four of the six games this series have seen him beat the 7.5 fantasy point projection.
