Underdog Fantasy Daily Pick’Em Entry – September 27

Tyler Glasnow – Tampa Bay – Lower than 8.0 Strikeouts

Tampa Bay starter Tyler Glasnow has been mowing down batters this season, with 153 K’s in 20 starts. However, doing the math, you’ll see that is less than eight strikeouts a game. Plus, he’s only had seven and four K’s in his last two starts. Additionally, Boston whiffs below league average this season. Lower than eight strikeouts it is.

Elly De La Cruz – Cincinnati – Higher than 7.5 Fantasy Points

Elly De La Cruz has been tearing the cover off of the ball lately, so I like him to top 7.5 fantasy points on Wednesday. In the last game, he easily cleared this mark – his 37 fantasy points are an eye-opener. Then, two games before that, he had 18 fantasy points. Plus, he’ll be going up against Shane Beiber on Wednesday, who has been hit up for four earned runs in each of his last three starts and four of his last five (plus, back six starts ago, he gave up five runs).

Salvador Perez – Kansas City – Higher than 7.0 Fantasy Points

Salvador Perez is another hitter who is blazing hot currently. He’s topped seven fantasy points in three straight games (eight, 16, and 12) and five of his last six. And he’s got Wednesday’s starter, Tarik Skubel’s, number. In 16 career at-bats against the Detroit hurler, he’s slashing .438/.438/1.125. Higher than seven fantasy points on Wednesday, please & thanks.
