Baltimore strikes out a little below league average, but Tampa Bay starter Zack Littell has been mowing down hitters as of late, so I’m still going higher than three strikeouts for him for Sunday. Littell topped the three-strikeout bar seven times in his last nine starts, including eight K’s in his last outing versus Minnesota. He’s averaging over four strikeouts a game over his last 10.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. – Toronto – Higher than 8.5 Fantasy Points
Toronto’s Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has been doing his part to keep the Blue Jays in the American League Wild Card race, mashing a homer in three straight games. He obliterated the 8.5 fantasy point mark over those three games, going for 16, 21 and 28 points. Plus, he has a .571 slugging percentage against Sunday’s starter, Nick Pivetta, and has hit three homers off of him in 28 at-bats lifetime.
Austin Riley – Atlanta – Higher than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
While slugging teammates Ronald Acuna Jr. and Matt Olson don’t hit well against Miami start Jesus Luzardo, who is on the bump on Sunday, Austin Riley does. He holds a lifetime .357 OBP and a .462 SLG against the lefty. Plus, Riley has been raking lately, topping the 1.5 hits + runs + RBIs mark in four straight games and five of six.
