Last season the Panthers went 7-10, but started off the year 1-5 until their coach Matt Rhule was fired. In 1 score games, they were 3-5, showing they could have had a much better year. Things are definitely trending higher with a new coach coming in and a solid offensive line protecting a smart and young quarterback.

Despite the feelings of the team, they traded away their major production in Christian McCaffrey and DJ Moore. However, they did bring in Miles Sanders who can be a good bell cow back to take some pressure off of Bryce Young. The coaching staff will also be quite revamped and will have a strong sense of experience, which will be needed to protect the smaller stature of their quarterback.
Pass catching seems to be questionable in Carolina. Thielen goes undrafted in best ball drafts and DJ Chark is often hurt. Hayden Hurst is a talent to consider if you for some reason want a Panthers stack.

The Panthers open up with a visit to the Falcons and a visit from the Saints. Before their bye in week 7, the Panthers can very well be 0-6, a strong candidate for the last winless team. On paper, their schedule really isn’t too hard, but when you take a game-by-game basis, each week will be tough for them. Towards the end, their schedule becomes favorable, and they can benefit from some teams phoning it in.
