The course is a classic in Baltimore where horses that are near the rail tend to “heat up” making it hard to widen out and pass. There will be a lot of events going on around the event to create an exciting atmosphere.
(12:34) Black-eyed Susan Odds And Picks
Horse 8 could end up with a sizable lead early in this race due to course conditions. Merlazza is another horse that can do well and has odds of 6-1 which are worth some attention. This horse also seems to have loss some weight and should be able to run much faster because of this. Fading Fyza is the play overall for this race.
(21:03) Maryland Sprint Stakes Race Odds And Picks
Threes over Deuces at 15-1 seems like the perfect long shot play of the weekend. Straight no Chaser is another horse that can pull of a win. This race is fairly short at just an 1/8th of a mile, or 220 yards.
(29:08) Preakness Picks And Odds
A million dollars is on the line for this race between 3-year-old colts. One of the favorites will be out of the race as they were found to have a heavy amount of a substance that can hide illegal substances. Mage is a new likely favorite who has the potential to win the Triple Crown. Mage has also significantly improved over his four starts, which is a great sign. An issue with Mage is that the horse doesn’t have the best pacing, which can be a negative with this type of race. First Mission and Perform are horses that deserve some betting respect.
