Another Saturday, another UFC Fight Night at the UFC Apex. Hey, I’m not complaining. This week we get women’s strawweights Marina Rodriguez and Amanda Lemos topping the card. Will either of them make their way into my UFC Vegas 64 DraftKings lineup, you ask? Read on.

UFC Vegas 64 DraftKings Picks, Fantasy UFC
Miranda Maverick – $9,400
My top pickup this week is women’s flyweight Miranda Maverick. ‘Fear The’ Maverick averages a robust 72.9 fantasy points per fight, including 110 in her UFC debut and another 110 in her last fight. She’s a very heavy favorite over Shanna Young this weekend, and I think she’ll dominate this fight and hopefully score us triple digits.
Mario Bautista – $9,100
My other big-ticket purchase this week is bantamweight Mario Bautista. This is as much an acknowledgment of Bautista’s skills as it is a fade on his opponent on Saturday, Benito Lopez. Lopez has been on the shelf for over three years now, which is not conducive to winning. And Bautista is just plain better, and is on a two-fight winning streak, in which he scored 104 and 105 points, respectively.
Polyana Viana – $8,300
Next up is ‘Dama de Ferro’ (Iron Lady), Polyana Viana. This woman is a finisher, with all 12 of her pro wins coming within the distance (four knockouts, eight submissions). This has allowed her to rack up some impressive fantasy scoring performances in the UFC, including fights where she scored 111, 95, and 106 points (the last two coming in her past three fights). While Jinh Yu Frey is a tough opponent, Viana is much younger and I think she gets the job done.
Josh Parisian – $8,000
I’ll snatch the biggest fighter on the card next in Josh Parisian. He’s coming off of a 119-point performance in his last fight, which is a nice start. Plus, he’s more well-rounded than his opponent on Saturday, Chase Sherman, and has a slightly better resume. If he takes this fight to the ground, he could very easily submit Sherman. Or knock him out on the feet. I’m not picky.
Daniel Rodriguez – $7,800
Daniel ‘D-Rod’ Rodriguez is on quite the roll, with four straight wins, scoring 85, 108, 88, and 65 points. He started his UFC career off with 100, 106, and 126-point performances, so I’m really liking him for only $7,800 (he averages 89.6 points per fight). Yes, Neil Magny is a tough opponent and constantly underrated, but I like ‘D-Rod’ to keep the good times rolling on Saturday.
Derrick Minner – $7,300
My big dog of the week is Derrick Minner in his fight against Shayilan Nuerdanbieke. This is a really nice matchup for Minner, a submission specialist with 22 wins coming via that method. Six of Nuerdanbieke’s 10 pro losses have come via submission, so there’s a very clear path to victory here. And Minner can bring in the points, with 122 and 111-point fights on his resume.
