Speed Kills With Blake Meyer | ZED RUN Gambling Podcast (Ep. 9)

We’re back again and even though we haven’t reached ten episodes we already have our first success story. That’s right our baseball editor here at SGPN Blake Meyer got into Zed when we started doing the show and has since built up an impressive stable with solid success. He’s an absolute maniac pounding dozens of races a day and showing some damn good results lately. Check out his progress in the SGPN Slack Channel with daily reports. Seems like he’s always winning at least 15% of his races and 100% blames us for getting involved like this.

A big factor in his success has been focusing on speed. I kind of scoffed at race times for a while. It seemed like there wasn’t much of a gap in times from class to class. But using them to establish kilometers per hour and then comparing those top speeds to the median seems to have some serious value. Especially looking at fastest in last 90 days. That keeps you fresh and always with what’s currently happening in the game. Changes in Zed happen so frequently and it looks like more are on the way so it’s good to stay in the moment in your evaluations. To quote our own Ryan “Real Money” Kramer “there’s a reason why the windshield is bigger than the rear view.”
It’s so amazing to see Blake grow with the show and lap us in terms of picking and managing winners. It shows that with the right approach and trusting the data you can get it going in the right direction quicker than later. I’m excited to see where he’s at in a few months with his stable and evaluations. If you’re finding the show helpful and have things to add or confirm something that’s worked feel free to reach out to zedrungamblingpodcast@gmail.com or hit us up on Twitter @ZedPodcast and Instagram @zedgamblingpodcast. Big thanks to everyone out there that’s reached out or left a review. Make sure you leave a five-star rating and leave a review on Apple Podcasts to enter our contest to win a FREE horse!
Zed Bulletin: Well it appears the powers that be are paying attention and are tweaking the race payouts. There are now Top Six races in which the top six horses in the race get paid. I’ll keep saying it until I pass out: the more ways people can get paid the more people will play. It’s just gambling logic…Zed Token is coming soon and I have more questions than answers right now. It looks like Genesis owners both past and present will receive some sort of compensation with it and that’s about all I can gather right now. I’m guessing you’ll eventually be able to use the token for entering races and breeding. If you ask me a cool thing they can do with it is reward the podium horses in free races. In addition to qualifying for tourneys if you could win the Zed token there and use it to enter paid races, it’s a solid way for Zed to create their own Dave & Buster’s economy. Fans of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia should appreciate that…Zed Run formally announced its acquisition of Know Your Horses. With this move, it will be curious to see if Zed starts leaning into Hawku as the primary marketplace for horse purchases since KYH already has the links set up for that. With the recent security issues at OpenSea it seems like the best way to move forward…StackedNaks is shutting down soon. The browser extension will still be available for a small monthly fee but ZLead seems to be the thing of the future and we’re looking forward to having DanShan back on our next episode to tell us all about it. Take care until then everyone and stay safe out there!
