Saturday afternoon features great matchups and ace pitchers on their mound. There are plenty of opportunities to cash in on a few prop bets. Last week my MLB Strikeout Props ended up going 1-2. I have three more strikeout props for the action on Saturday. Let’s dive right in!

Zack Wheeler Over 7.5 Strikeouts (+102)
Zack Wheeler takes the mound for the Phillies on Saturday afternoon. Wheeler returns from paternity leave which means he is bringing the dad energy. But on a serious note, the Diamondbacks are striking out at an alarming rate. In fact, the Diamondbacks rank #2 in the entire MLB in strikeouts over the last seven days. Furthermore, over the last three games, the Diamondbacks rank 8th in team strikeout percentage. Over Wheeler’s last seven starts he has struck out at least seven batters in all seven games. He’s also struck out at least nine batters in three out of his last four starts. I like Wheeler to get over his strikeout prop.
Hunter Greene Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-130)
It is a roller coaster ride so far this season with Hunter Greene. Despite having struggled early on during the season, Greene is a strikeout machine. . As a matter of fact, Green has a 12.9 strikeout per nine innings rate on the road this season. Greene has appeared in 11 games so far this season and he has struck out at least six batters in 10 of those games. The lone game was against the Cardinals who he is facing today. However, I am going to discredit that start because it was his third start of the season and he faced two stellar offenses in his first two starts of the season. Additionally, over the last three games, the Cardinals have the 8th highest team strikeout percentage in the MLB.
Carlos Carrasco Over 6.5 Strikeouts (+125)
Carlos Carrasco will take on an Angels team who is reeling, to say the least. In fact, the Angels have lost 14 out of the last 15 games. Furthermore, the Angels rank #2 over the last three games in team strikeout percentage. In addition, the Angels are #1 over the last seven days in team strikeouts. Carrasco in his last start struck out 10 batters. With an 8.6 per nine innings rate in away games so far this season, I am going to back Carrasco against the Angels to get over this projection.
