It is the battle of the Windy City on Sunday Night Baseball between the White Sox and the Cubs. I am 4-2 over the last two weeks on the Sunday Night Baseball Prop Bets. I hope to finish the weekend strong. Let’s dive right into it!
Zach Davies takes the mound for the Chicago Cubs tonight. It has certainly been a subpar season for Davies but he is no stranger to getting strikeouts. In addition, in the first two games of this series, the starters for the Cubs have each recorded seven strikeouts. Now I know we can not compare Kyle Hendricks and Adbert Alzolay to Davies but the White Sox are prone to swinging early and often. I am going to take a gander at Davies getting at least five strikeouts as a prop bet for tonight.
Jose Abreu bat has been on fire as of late. He has recorded at least one hit in five straight games. Furthermore, he has more than 1.5 total bases in two out of the three last games and a home run in three out of the last four games. Abreu’s hot bat should continue tonight against Zach Davies. Along with that, the pure power that Abreu has with the wind projected blowing out to left field should help the ball fly tonight. I love this Sunday Night Prop Bet to cash tonight!
Patrick Wisdom has been ice cold to stay the least to start the month of August. In fact, so far this month he has recorded 4 hits in 21 at bats. Three of these hits came on August 4th against the Colorado Rockies. Aside from that Wisdom has zero hits in four out of the six games he has played in this month. I expect the cold batting for Wisdom to continue tonight.
