We have flipped the calendar to December and the college football crazy, Covid-19 regular-season of 2020 marches on. But, not without controversy and plenty of debate about who the top 4 teams should be in the College Football Playoff?
Host, T.J. Rives is ready to discuss the issues around the end of the college football season and also get some college and NFL Underdog predictions rolling on the latest edition of the show.
First up is Brian Edwards, senior handicapper of MajorWager.com and Vegas Insider. And he and T.J. detail the ACC controversial decision to basically declare the regular season over one week early and anoint Clemson and Notre Dame as their two participants in the. ACC Title game.
The guys also go over the controversial comments of ESPN top football TV analyst Kirk Herbstreit, who hinted Tuesday night that Michigan might choose not to play Ohio State out of some spite and due to Covid-19 positive tests combined with the bad season they’ve had. Herbstreit has since apologized, but Michigan fans are still seething.
Then, Brian and T.J. get to some college underdogs, including an SEC home doggy that they both agree on and another Big 12 and ACC pooch for this weekend, as well.
Then, our “YouTube Round Table” segment features Sean Green of the “Sports Gambling Podcast.” He and T.J. also talked lots of college football and the CFP controversies and some NFL, as well. That includes, Sean’s Philly Eagles and their struggles, despite being in the worst division in football, the NFC East. Their Monday night defeat exemplifies Sean’s new comedy album, “This Loss Hurts Us All” available now through iTunes and Amazon.
Finally, Brian rejoined T.J. to talk more NFL football and some possible Pro underdogs for this weekend. Who likes the Falcons as an NFC South Pooch hosting the top-seeded Saints? And, who favors the Houston Texans who’ve been rolling since firing coach Bill O’Brien?
