Baseball Returns This Weekend! | Three Dog Thursday (Ep. 24)

baseball returns podcast

On the latest edition of the only digital radio show that’s devoted to Underdogs in Sports (with the games resuming), host T.J. Rives is back with his guests, including the “round table”

First up, Brian Edwards from Majorwager.com and Vegas Insider kicks things off with a variety of subjects and takes. First he and T.J. discuss the pending NBA resumption of it’s regular season and then, the Playoffs. They have thoughts on Zion Williamson breaking Covid 19 quarantine and how it might affect the Pelicans as a 3-1 Underdog for their chances to capture the 8th seed in the Western Conference playoffs.

Then, the discussion turns to college football and Brian has some insight on some players transferring to new programs to play this year and which service academy has lost it’s top offensive weapon and why? Finally, Brian gives his thoughts and a couple of Underdog picks on the latest UFC Fight Island show Saturday night.

Then, it’s our Youtube video roundtable, as T.J. talks the much delayed start of MLB with Al Dukes, executive producer from WFAN’s “Boomer and Gio” morning show in New York, and also, Chris Hrabe of legendary KMOX radio in St. Louis, the home of the Cardinals. Al has insight on the Yankees and Mets about to start up and how anxious are NY fans? Chris gives the Midwest perspective on MLB returning, too. The guys also talk about what else they’ve been up to during social distancing and isolation, including their favorite “TV binges” these last months.

Hear and see it all on 3 Dog Thursday and remember to subscribe, rate/review on Apple Podcast, Spotify and Google Podcasts!
