Chargers vs Chiefs
Spread: KC -10.5
Justin Herbert was electric in his NFL debut throwing for 370 yds and 4 TDs with only 1 INT against the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs. Unfortunately for Herbert and the virtual Bolts of Los Angeles, it wasn’t enough to stop the dynamic duo of Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill. The Chiefs got up early and kept their foot on the gas as Mahomes and Hill connected 6 times for an absurd 173 yards and 2 TDs.
With a 10 point lead and the clock about to run out in the 4th, Andy Reid sent out Harrison Butker and the field goal unit to attempt a 61 yarder for absolutely no reason other than to cover the spread. Butker didn’t have enough on the kick and came up short.
LAC +10.5 bettors exhaled a collective sigh of relief, but the Chiefs advance!
FINAL SCORE: KC 41, LAC 31
Raiders vs Broncos
Spread: OAK -1.5
It was a back and forth battle in the cpu mile high city between the Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos! Both teams traded leads from start to finish. Drew Lock threw for 342 yds and 3 TDs on the day to keep it close, but a Derek Carr dart to Nelson Agholor with 3:49 remaining put the Raiders on top for good 34-30.
The Raiders cover the spread on the road and advance to take on the Chiefs.
FINAL SCORE: OAK 34, DEN 30
Panthers vs Saints
Spread: NO -13
It was a virtual revenge game for cpu Teddy Bridgewater as he traveled back to the bayou to take on Drew Brees and the tournament favorite Saints.
Bridgewater and McCaffery failed to get anything going against a stout New Orleans defense, as Brees put the pedal to the metal connecting on 82% of his passes for 360yds and 4 TDs as the Saints boat raced the Panthers 31-8 covering the spread with ease and advancing to the next round.
FINAL SCORE: NO 31, CAR 8
Buccaneers vs Falcons
Spread: TB -7.5
Julio Jones hauled in 10 catches for 189 yards and 1 TD from Matt Ryan. While Chris Godwin secured 9 catches for 120 yards and 1 TD from Tom Brady as the new look Buccaneers did battle with The Falcons at virtual Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Both teams traded leads, but with the game tied and only a few seconds remaining on the clock, the Falcons were able to secure a field goal and leave no time on the clock for a Tom Brady comeback as they pulled off the upset at home and advance to take on the Saints in New Orleans.
FINAL SCORE: ATL 27, TB 24
Miami vs New England
Spread: NE -3
With Brady in Tampa Bay, Bill Belichick turned to veteran QB Brian Hoyer to lead the New England Patriots at home against the Miami Dolphins.
Hoyer and Belichick jumped out to a 3-0 lead, but Tua Tagovailoa went absolutely berserk in his NFL debut completing 28/36 for 358 yards and 4 TDs with no turnovers. The Dolphins answered back to take the lead 7-3 and proceeded to pummel the Patriots on their own field to the tune of 38-16. The Dolphins pull off the upset and advance to the AFC East Finals.

New York vs Buffalo
Spread: BUF -5.5
The Jets wasted no time jumping out to a 16-0 lead on the Bills in what looked like a game they were about to run away. Josh Allen fired back two touchdowns to make it 16-14 at the half and keep the Bills hopes alive.
The Bills took a brief lead out of the half before The Jets would wrestle it back and hold on tight into the 4th quarter.
With a 30-28 Jet lead and just over 4 minutes remaining, Sam Darnold fell victim to a sack fumble that would set up a 5 yard TD pass to John Brown. The Jets followed with a quick 3 allowing Josh Allen to deliver the dagger with a TD pass to Stefan Diggs that put the Bills lead out of reach 45-30.
FINAL SCORE: BUF 45, NYJ 30
Detroit vs Green Bay
Spread: GB -6.5
The Lions came into the virtual frozen tundra with a chip on their shoulder and put the Packers on the ropes jumping out to a 14-0 lead early in the first half. The Packer defense made some adjustments in the second quarter and were able to cut the lead down to 14-13 by halftime.
It was all Packers in the second half as they rallied behind Aaron Rodgers throwing for 378 yards and 2 TDs. The Packer offense is explosive and they can put up points in a flash.

Chicago vs Minnesota
Spread: Min -5.5
Virtual Kirk Cousins looked to snap the prime time curse against Khalil Mack and The Bears.
Trailing by 6 with under a minute remaining in the 3rd, the Vikings set up to attempt a 45 yard field goal and cut the lead to 3… At least that’s what we all thought they did. Instead Coach Zimmer sent out his Special Teams unit to attempt the first fake of Madden MAYhem! It led to an awful sack that would come back to haunt his team in the final possession of the game.
Cousins led the Vikings down the field and hooked up with Justin Jefferson for a TD with 35 seconds remaining. They converted on the two points and tied the game at 25.
Unfortunately 35 seconds was all Mitch Trubisky needed to find Ted Ginn Jr. for the 40 yard completion to setup the game winning field goal. Bears pull off the upset on the road and head to Green Bay to face the Packers in the NFC North Championship.
