One of the highlights of watching college basketball is hearing Bill Walton’s stoned rants, constantly referring to the PAC 12 as the “Conference of Champions.” This year, the conference is so bad they might only get one team in. 2 teams max. For being a power conference, the PAC 12 has really been awful. The only thing that is at a high level in the PAC 12 is Bill Walton’s THC content.

Traditionally this conference has been a powerhouse. It seems that all of the teams we are used to seeing in the postseason are on a down year. Washington is leading the conference by default. Someone has to be on top of the pile of shit they’ve called a basketball season. Arizona State is the only other team being considered for an NCAA Tournament at-large bid.
One thing we can lock in as a sure thing is Bill Walton praising the conference during a broadcast. There’s no amount of weed in the world that can make this league look good. Trust me, I’ve tried.

One of the several conference tournaments played in Las Vegas, the action is brought to the gambling mecca. Interestingly, the Oregon Ducks sit as a #6 seed but second to the Huskies on the odds to win the tournament. This is one of the most up for grabs tournaments in the season.
Pick: Oregon Ducks +330
I’m going with the Ducks here. I would like to look for a longer shot to play in this tourney, but this tourney is almost like playing “would you rather.” There isn’t a team in the field that strikes me as a dark horse to make noise in the NCAA Tournament. In fact, the best futures odds in the conference to win the National Championship are the Washington Huskies at +6600. That’s a long way down the list for a PAC 12 favorite.
Dana Altman’s Ducks have been hit and miss this season. They aren’t the juggernaut we have come accustomed to seeing over the past few years. They have however started playing decent basketball winning their last 4 games in conference. Losing star center Bol Bol earlier in the season really put a damper on this teams outlook for the future.
If you’re planning on attending the PAC 12 tournament in Vegas, grab yourself an Oregon Ducks future and hold on for dear life as you watch some horrendous basketball.
