  1. Duke @ St. John’s (Sat 9am FOX) – Duke bounced back from the UVA loss with a nice blowout win against Notre Dame. They can’t afford an upset like this if they want a 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. St. John’s has is coming off a close loss to Xavier.

 

  1. South Dakota @ North Dakota State (Sat Noon ESFC) – South Dakota is the 2nd place team in the Summit League and North Dakota State is 4th, this is a big game for conference tournament seeding.

 

  1. Pittsburgh @ North Carolina (Sat 5pm ESFC) – Pittsburgh is easily the worst team in the ACC but they’ve been playing a bit better of recent despite the losing outcome. North Carolina is coming off back to back losses and this is a must win game.

 

  1. Ole Miss @ Tennessee (Sat 3pm SECN) – Tennessee is currently ranked 18th in the country and they’ve been one of the nations big surprises. The Vols are currently 3rd in the SEC and they have a shot at winning the conference. Ole Miss is .500 and currently 11th in the SEC and they’re pretty desperate for a big win. Can the Rebels come up big in Knoxville?

 

  1. Purdue @ Rutgers (Sat 1pm BTN) – Is anybody in the country playing better than Purdue right now? The Boilermakers are due for a let down game. Could this be it? Rutgers is .500 but they’ve played some of the big boys tough.

 

  1. Georgetown @ Xavier (Sat 3pm CBSS) – Xavier is currently ranked 6th in the nation and coming off a road win at St. John’s. Georgetown is currently 8th in the Big East and could use a huge win against a top 10 opponent. The Hoyas are coming off a tough road loss at Creighton.

 

  1. Saint Mary’s @ San Diego (Sat 6pm ESFC) – Saint Mary’s is 13th in the nation and in first place in the West Coast Conference with Gonzaga right behind them. They can’t afford a loss at San Diego. San Diego is currently 4th in the West Coast and they’re playing decent ball.

 

  1. Nevada @ Colorado State (Sat 5pm ESPNU) – Nevada scored a big double digit win against Fresno State on Wednesday but if they want an at large bid they can’t afford anymore losses to middle of the road Mountain West teams. Colorado State is having a tough year and coming off a double overtime loss to Wyoming.

 

  1. Vanderbilt @ Auburn (Sat 5:30pm SECN) – Auburn is currently 11th in the country and the top ranked team in the SEC. Vanderbilt is is 14th in the SEC but have been playing up recently with a win against TCU and a overtime loss at Kentucky.

 

  1. Temple @ Tulane (Sun Noon ESPW) – Temple came up with a huge home win against Wichita State in overtime on Thursday, now can they ride this momentum and make a push towards the NCAA Tournament? Tulane is 8th in the American and currently ranked ahead of Temple. I doubt either of these teams go dancing but who knows.

 

  1. Wisconsin @ Maryland (Sun 10am CBS) – Maryland is a bubble team who’s lost three games in a row and they need all the wins they can get, that means they need to beat a 10-14 Wisconsin team.

 

  1. Illinois @ Ohio State (Sun 9am FS1) – Ohio State is ranked 17th in the country and 2nd in the Big Ten. If the Buckeyes want a chance to win the regular season title they can’t afford a loss to Illinois who’s currently 13th in the Big Ten.

 

  1. Arizona State @ Washington State (Sun 1pm ESPNU) – Arizona State is currently 25th in nation and needs to get back on track after a tough January. Washington State is 11th in the PAC 12 so ASU can’t afford a loss in Pullman.

 

  1. UAB @ Old Dominion (Sat 4pm ESPN3) – The 3rd and 4th place ranked teams in Conference USA battle in a key matchup for seeding. ODU is coming off a tough loss to Middle Tennessee and UAB is coming off a nice road win at Charlotte.

 

  1. Minnesota @ Michigan (Sat 11:30am FOX) – Minnesota was looking good early on but wow have they fell apart. Michigan has been playing up this year and they’re currently ranked 24th in the country. The Wolverines need to take care of business in Ann Arbor.

 

  1. DePaul @ Butler (Sat 9am FS1) – Butler is currently 5th in the Big East and looking to climb up the ranks after a big road win at Marquette. Now the Bulldogs must take care of business at home against DePaul the 9th ranked team in the Big East.

 

  1. Dayton @ UMASS (Sat 11am) – If Dayton wants to make a run at the A10 they need to wake up. The Flyers are currently 8th in the A10 and have been up and down all year.

 

  1. Davidson @ George Washington (Sat 1pm) – Davidson is currently 3rd in the A10 and they need to keep winning if they want to continue to hang with Rhode Island and VCU. Here’s a road matchup they need. GW is 13th in the A10 so Davidson needs to take care of business.

 

  1. Drake @ Bradley (Sat 5pm ESPN3) – Bradley scored a huge win against top seeded Loyola on Wednesday and are currently in 2nd place in the Missouri Valley. Drake is ranked 5th in Missouri Valley and they’re looking to climb up the ranks.

 

  1. BYU @ Gonzaga (Sat 7pm ESPN2) – BYU upset Gonzaga last year but that game was in Provo. The Cougars are currently 3rd in the West Coast and could really use a huge upset win. Gonzaga is currently 14th in the nation and they must keep up with Saint Mary’s if they want the top seed in the conference.

 

  1. Georgia Tech @ Boston College (Sun 9am ESPNU) – The 11th and 12th ranked teams in the ACC play a key game if either of these teams want a chance to dance come March. Georgia Tech is fresh off a nice win against Syracuse. While BC is coming off a tough overtime loss to Virginia Tech.

 

  1. St. Bonaventure @ Duquesne (Sat 3:30pm NBCS) – The 5th and 6th ranked teams in the A10 square off in a big time matchup. They may be ranked 5th and 6th but I could see both these teams moving up the ranks as the season continues, that’s why this game is a big time conference game.

 

  1. Georgia @ Mississippi State (Sat 3pm ESPNU) – Mississippi State has came up with two nice wins in a row against Missouri and South Carolina and are currently 6th in the SEC. Georgia is currently 9th in the SEC and coming off a huge home upset of Florida. Both these teams are bubble teams so this is a big time matchup.

 

  1. Virginia @ Syracuse (Sat 1pm ESFC) – Virginia seems to be running away with the ACC regular season title and Syracuse sure could use a big time victory against a top 10 team.

 

  1. Fresno State @ Wyoming (Sat 11am ROOT) – Wyoming has been climbing up the ranks of the Mountain West and needs a big time home win against a pretty good Fresno State team. Fresno is currently ranked 7th in the Mountain West but they’re probably a bit better than that current ranking.

 

  1. Cincinnati @ UCONN (Sat 9am ESPN2) – Cincinnati is currently ranked 8th in the country and is thinking about a big time seed come NCAA Tournament time, which means they can’t lose a game to a UCONN team that has struggled all year.

 

  1. Charleston @ Hofstra (Sat 4pm) – Charleston is currently the top seed in the CAA and Hofstra is ranked 3rd. This is a big time conference matchup for Hofstra if they want to make a run at winning the regular season title.

 

  1. Clemson @ Wake Forest (Sat 11am ESFC) – Clemson is currently ranked 20th in the nation and coming off a huge win against North Carolina. Wake Forest has been a total let down this season and have a losing record but the Demon Deacons came up with a huge home win over Florida State on Wednesday.

 

  1. Utah @ Colorado (Fri 8pm FS1) – Utah came up with a huge win over Arizona State in Tempe and then played Arizona tough in Tucson. Colorado surprised some teams in mid January but has lost a few in a row. This is a big game for both teams who are looking to climb up the ranks of the PAC 12.

 

  1. Houston @ Central Florida (Sat 9am ESPNU) – The current 3rd and 4th ranked teams in the American play a big one on Saturday. UCF is coming off a nice win against UCONN. Houston is coming off a tough loss at Cincinnati and needs to rebound with a nice road win.

 

  1. Missouri State @ Loyola (IL) (Sat 11am CBSS) – Loyola is still the top ranked team in the Missouri Valley despite losing to Bradley this week. Missouri State dropped back to 7th in the Conference this week but they’re probably a bit better than that ranking.

 

  1. UNLV @ Boise State (Sat 5pm CBSS) – UNLV is currently 5th in the MWC and coming off nice wins against San Diego State and San Jose State. Boise State is 2nd in the MWC and trying to keep pace with rival Nevada. This is a big time MWC matchup.

 

  1. South Carolina @ Texas A&M (Sat 11am ESPN2) – Both these teams are bubble teams who need a huge win. Texas A&M is currently 12th in the SEC and coming off a much needed win against Arkansas. South Carolina has dropped three of four after scoring some impressive wins and are currently 10th in the SEC.

 

  1. Oregon @ Stanford (Sat 2pm FOX) – Both these teams are currently ranked 5th and 6th in the PAC 12 which makes this game huge for the winner. Stanford is coming off a nice win against Oregon State. Oregon is also coming off a win against last place Cal.

 

  1. Arkansas @ LSU (Sat 12:30pm SECN) LSU is in desperate need of a win. The Tigers are currently ranked 13th in the SEC and they’ve lost five of six. Arkansas is currently 7th in the SEC but coming off a tough road loss at Texas A&M. This is a must win game for LSU.

 

  1. Notre Dame @ NC State (Sat 9am ESPN) – NC State has came out of nowhere and is playing big time basketball of late. Notre Dame has been destroyed by injuries and could sure use a big time win against the Wolfpack.

 

  1. Rhode Island @ VCU (Fri 4pm ESPN2) – The top two teams in the Atlantic 10 finally meet. Rhode Island is currently ranked 22nd in the country and escaped with two close wins against Duquesne and UMASS. VCU has won three games in a row and are starting to gel as a team.

 

  1. Oklahoma State @ Kansas (Sat 9am CBS) – Kansas is looking to lock down another Big 12 regular season title which means this is a must win game against OSU in Lawrence. Oklahoma State is a bubble team on the outside and could sure use a big time win.

 

  1. USC @ UCLA (Sat 3pm ESPN2) – USC is currently ranked 2nd in the PAC 12 and now they play their heated cross town rivals UCLA who’s currently 4th in the PAC 12. UCLA is a bubble team on the outside right now so the Bruins need to come up with a big win.

 

  1. Michigan State @ Indiana (Sat 5:15 ESPN) – Michigan State is currently ranked 5th in the country and coming off a nice couple wins despite all the turmoil that’s happening in East Lansing. Indiana is in desperate need of a big time win if they want to make a push towards the NCAA Tournament. Well here’s a great opportunity for the Hoosiers.

 

  1. Arizona @ Washington (Sat 7:30pm PACN) – Washington is currently a bubble team and Arizona is currently ranked 9th in the country. Need I say more? The Wildcats look to run away with the PAC 12 but the Huskies sure could use a big time home win against a top 10 team.

 

  1. Iowa State @ Baylor (Sat 5pm ESPN2) – Both these teams are on the outside of the bubble watch despite being pretty decent teams. That’s what makes this match up so compelling. Both these teams need this win. Iowa State is coming off a big time upset win of West Virginia and Baylor has lost six of their last seven and desperately needs to get back on track.

 

  1. Providence @ Marquette (Sat 11:30am FS1) – Both these teams are currently ranked 6th and 7th in the Big East and both are coming off key losses. That makes this game very important for both teams.

 

  1. Miami (FL) @ Virginia Tech (Sat 11am ESPN) – The current 5th and 6th ranked teams in the ACC do battle this Saturday. Virginia Tech is coming off a big overtime win against Boston College. Miami is coming off a home win against Pittsburgh.

 

  1. Seton Hall @ Villanova (Sun 9am FOX) – Villanova is the top ranked team in the country and the Big East. Seton Hall is currently unranked and 3rd in the Big East, a win against the top ranked team in the country could be huge for the Pirates.

 

  1. Alabama @ Florida (Sat 1pm ESPN) – Florida is ranked 23rd in the nation but coming off a double digit road loss to Georgia. Alabama is currently 5th in the SEC and scored a nice win against Oklahoma last week but then lost a tough home game to Missouri. This is a big time SEC matchup.

 

  1. Kansas State @ West Virginia (Sat 1pm ESPN) – West Virginia is currently ranked 15th in the country but has lost three games in a row. Kansas State is currently ranked ahead of them in the Big 12 so this is a must win game for the Mountaineers.

 

  1. Florida State @ Louisville (Sat 1pm ESFC) – Louisville is currently ranked 4th in the ACC and coming off a loss to Virginia on the road. Florida State is currently 8th in the ACC and coming off a bad road loss to a underachieving Wake Forest team.

 

  1. Kentucky @ Missouri (Sat 11am CBS) – Kentucky is currently ranked 21st in the nation and scored a huge road win last week against West Virginia. The Wildcats then survived a scare at home against Vanderbilt no Tuesday. Missouri is currently a bubble team that scored a nice road win against Alabama this week. Can the Tigers score another big time conference win?

 

  1. Texas Tech @ TCU (Sat 11am ESPNU) – Texas Tech is currently the 10th ranked team in the nation and coming off a big overtime win against Texas. The Red Raiders are currently ranked 2nd in the Big 12 and if they want to keep up with Kansas they need this game. TCU is currently ranked 6th in the Big 12 and coming off a nice win against Oklahoma State. This is huge resume game for TCU.
