Monday Night Football Prop Bets: Steelers vs Bengals

Monday-Night-Football-Prop-Bets-Week-Thirteen-Steelers-Bengals

Greetings fellow prop market investors and happy week Thirteen. Jerry Reese and Ben Mcadoo have finally been taken on one last boat trip Big Pussy style and deposited in the bottom of the ocean. Bringing peace to all Giants fans fitting for the holiday season.

This MNF matchup is a AFC North battle featuring the some how in the playoff hunt Cincinnati Bengals vs the front running Steelers. Will Pittsburgh once again bounce back off of a let down spot and spank the Bengals like they typically do in Ohio? Can Andy Dalton continue his hot play and get a win in a back against the wall spot?

Lets dive into the matchup and identify those inefficiencies  in the prop market to get you paid on Monday Night Football. For more in depth NFL analysis check out(or listen below) the Week Thirteen NFL Picks Podcast where we breakdown and pick all 14 games on the slate and I even give a heartfelt Eulogy for the great Eli Manning.

Monday Night Football Prop Bets – Five Ways to Get Paid

1. Total Sacks Over 4.5 (-130)

Very simply these teams can get after the QB with both teams sitting in the top 5 of the league averaging a combined 6.5 sacks per game(7.7 over their last 3). Dont over think it…play the over.

2. Jesse James Over 2.5 Receptions (+110)

Jesse James has received 12 targets over the last 2 games and in walk the Bengals who are #30 against the TE this year. I expect him to continue his ~6 target pace so with this priced ridiculously low Ill pounce on the over and enjoy a 3rd quarter winner.

3. Brandon LaFell Over 36.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

The Steelers have been quite proficient against #1 WRs but I wasn’t in the mood to fade AJ Green in this home primetime spot. Instead I will look to attacked the weakness of the Steelers defense which is defending WRs who are not the #1. In walk Brandon LaFell, this number may seem high but look for him to cover this total with one big catch.

4. Joe Mixon Over 2.5 Receptions (-120)

Another huge weakness is the Steelers ability to defend the running back in the passing game. Combine the anticipated pass rush for which I expect the Bengals to attempt to mitigate with the screen pass and I like Mixon to catch 4-6 balls in this match up.

5. Antonio Brown Over 6 Receptions (-110)

Sure there was some concern that Brown wouldn’t play tonight. But as long as he is on the field he is an auto play over right now. Coming off back to back 10 reception games Ill ride the steam and play the over.

Good luck and Let it Ride!!!
