The whole case is travel. New Mexico State opened the season at Florida State, then played Mercyhurst, and now they have to fly out to Hawaii, which the guys called a gigantic trip with a rough time difference stacked into the first few weeks. On the other side, the guys still like Timmy Chang as a head coach even with a lot of roster turnover in Honolulu. When it came time to lock it in, the read was simple: smash Hawaii, no doubt.
