The Brewers lost their chance to sweep in Game 4 as did we with our first inning plays. We’ll look to close this one out with another hit in Game 5. We have some NRFI and YRFI picks for October 28.

MLB NRFI and YRFI Picks – October 28th
Milwaukee Brewers vs. Tampa Bay Rays
First Pitch – 8:00 pm EST
Tropicana Field – St. Petersburg, FL

In Game 5, we’ll again be looking to the NRFI for one more clean first frame. It’s hard to be too invested in this one with the Rays not naming a starter as of Wednesday morning, but the Brewers’ bats didn’t look all that inspiring in Game 2. That’s especially true of the early part of the game. They didn’t manage a hit until there was one out in the third inning and that wasn’t exactly against the cream of the crop of starters either.
The bottom of the inning is easy to imagine coming up blank. Presumed NL Cy Young winner Jacob Misiorowski is on the bump for one more chance this season. He’s got the chance to take home the personal and team hardware all in one season. He’s also been outstanding in this postseason. In each of his last two starts, he’s allowed just one run and logged 9.1 total innings. With a chance to put the season on ice, I have to imagine we’ll see his best stuff.
