Daily NBA Player Props – October 25th

Ivica Zubac – Over 11.5 Rebounds (-107)

Zubac has been exactly what the Pacers went and got him for. He’s a presence under the hoop who can clean glass and free up Pascal Siakam to move around more and score. He’s racked up 13.0 rebounds per game on the short season and walks into a game with a short Brooklyn team. Michael Porter Jr. is leading the Nets in rebounds this year along with 6’10” center Day’Ron Sharp. Zubac should muscle both of them out of the way and get at least a dozen.

LaMelo Ball – Under 6.5 Assists (+109)

Ball has done well while on the court in Minnesota. There’s never been a question as to whether or not he can distribute the rock when he needs to. However, the Timberwolves have been keeping his minutes a bit shorter than he’s used to – likely due to his subpar defensive play. As a result, his numbers look a lot less gaudy than they have in the past. His assists have taken a sizable hit and that’s unlikely to change against the Raptors. They’ve allowed less than 100 points per game so far and will force Minnesota to play solid defense to stay in this one.

Ty Jerome – Over 23.5 Points (-108)

While we’re only five days into the NBA season, Ty Jerome is leading the league in scoring. Not Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, not Luka Doncic, not Giannis Antetokounmpo – Ty Jerome. He’s putting up 36.5 points per game and hasn’t come in under 28 in either of the two games. The books are expecting a big regression with a 23.5 projection, but he’s got an easy matchup with the Kings. They’ve allowed 124.5 per game over their first two and at least 121 in each game.
