Football Pick of the Day (October 20th): NFL Week 7 Prop Bet
New England Patriots vs Chicago Bears
8:15pm – Thursday – October 22nd
For our prop target on Thursday, we’ll look for Luther Burden III and his receptions. Over the past four weeks, he’s averaged 5.8 receptions a game and is coming off of a season-high eight catches on as many targets. Caleb Williams being back in action clearly was a good sign for him.
Another quality sign for him is the way that the Patriots defense is playing. The Jets had three different receivers get at least four receptions last week. Someone on every team they’ve played has cracked this number against the Patriots. I tend to think that Burden is the biggest threat in the air, which means he should be in play for the bulk of them.
With as good as the Patriots have been on offense, the Bears should be in a position where they have to pass a bit more. If that’s the case, look for Burden to haul in this many early.
