The ALCS gave us yet another NRFI hit on Tuesday and set us up for more success heading into Wednesday. Now, we have some NRFI and YRFI picks for October 14.

MLB NRFI and YRFI Picks – October 14th
Milwaukee Brewers vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
First Pitch – 8:00 pm EST
Dodger Stadium – Los Angeles, CA
Broadcast – FS1
After leaning into the NRFI spots, we’re heading back to play some more YRFI action. In Game 2, the Dodgers and Brewers both got on the board in the first inning and I like their chances of doing it again. For one, the offenses looked like they were really getting going on Monday. 23 batters reached base with either a hit or a walk in that game, which comes out to 1.35 WHIP. If that wasn’t a good enough reason to get in on the YRFI, then consider that the pitching matchup is getting worse.
Blake Snell will take the mound for the Dodgers and he has really been struggling with walks. He put five batters on against Atlanta in just 3.2 innings of work. It’s hard to trust him very much and it’s not much easier to trust that Robert Gasser can put up a zero early. He put up back-to-back months of double digit walks to close out the season. Additionally, the top of the Dodgers lineup has seen plenty of success against him in a limited sample size. If Snell doesn’t give one up, he’ll likely take care of this play for us.
