Football Pick of the Day (September 14th): NFL Week 1 Prop Bet

After hitting our spread play to kick off the week – shoutout to the Steelers in a close one – we’ll change gears and look for a prop play. Monday Night is where the stars shine and I expect one of these quarterbacks to show out to kick the season off.
The books set Bo Nix’s passing yard props right at his season average from last year. He averaged 231.2 yards per game last year and his over/under is set at 229.5. However, it’s worth noting that he’s played about ten yards about that average in games against the Chiefs. He’s also been far better in primetime.
On Monday nights, he’s 2-0 in his career with an 83.3 passer rating. On average, he tossed for 310.0 in those games and his low performance was 294. When you add in that the Chiefs gave us 230 or more passing yards in nine of their last 10 games last year, this one should be a lock.
