The Braves easily covered their 1.5 runline on Wednesday with a nine-run win. Now we’re looking to keep building some bankroll with Jeff Fox coming back in just a couple of days to take back over his column. Milwaukee Brewers vs Chicago Cubs

Start Time: 7:15 PM EST

Heading into Wednesday’s action (which was still in progress at the time of publishing), the Brewers were winners in five of their last seven games. Not only were they winning, but they were winning by a lot. There was not a single win over the five that came in at less than two runs.

They have even more reason to believe that they can do the same here with Logan Henderson on the bump. He has three straight games of allowing one run. His work earned him a 2.23 ERA in the month of August and the Brewers have gone 11-1 in his last dozen starts.

The Cubs are in the thick of the playoff hunt, but also happen to have Kevin Gausman on the hill, who has not been hot. He got smoked for five runs in 5.0 innings against the Reds last game. The Brewers rank 21 spots ahead of Cincinnati in terms of run scoring and should be able to support Henderson to a big win here.
