The UFC’s world tour continues, as the octagon moves from Sacramento, California, to Shanghai, China, this weekend for a Fight Night. And if the odds are any indication, we have a squash match for a main event. For my MMA Parlay of the Week: UFC Shanghai, I’m parlaying two fighters from the prelims. Let’s get it on, c’mon!

UFC Fight Night: Nurmagomedov vs Song

I’m going in on a couple of Road to UFC alums fighting on the prelims tomorrow for my winning parlay. First up is China’s Long Xiao, who faces Italy’s Francesco Nuzzi, who is debuting in the UFC. Nuzzi has a deficit on the ground, where Xiao excels, so I like the “home town” fighter to prevail.
I’m parlaying that play with one on Lawrence Lui, who is making his UFC debut in Shanghai after winning the Road to UFC tournament he was in. Lui is up against another newcomer, Brazil’s Hector Santiago, who is stepping in here on short notice. Lui is the bigger, younger, and better fighter in this matchup, so he’s the pick.
