Texas Rangers vs Chicago White Sox

Start Time: 7:40 PM EST

I don’t think I’ve ever made one of my daily best bets a play on the Chicago White Sox. And why would I have? For the past three seasons, heading into this year, the Sox were an abomination of a baseball team.

But things done changed, as the expression goes. Not only is Chicago a competent baseball team this season, but they are sitting in first place in the American League’s Central Division, and are almost a lock to see their first postseason action since 2021.

After getting spanked by the Texas Rangers 11-2 in Game 1 of this series, the Sox are up 6-0 at the time of this writing on Tuesday night, meaning tomorrow’s game will likely be the rubber match. And I’m liking the home team’s chances of winning it.

With a 39-27 record at Rate Field, the Sox are one of the strongest home teams in the majors this season (seventh best, to be exact). Plus, Chicago has won the past two games that Sean Burke has started, who will be tomorrow’s starting pitcher.

I’m going with the Chicago White Sox on the moneyline as my best bet for Wednesday.
