The NFL season is here. We’re in the midst of the preseason, and real professional football games are just weeks away. There’s no better time to head over to Kalshi, a prediction market, and start making your predictions for the season. There’s no better place to call your shot on where a team’s stock will rise to than at Kalshi. Let’s take a look at who we should buy now to sell later. NFL teams to target on Kalshi.

The best part about predictions on Kalshi is that they don’t actually have to hit. Let’s say you thought the New England Patriots would be better than expected heading into 2025. You purchased stock in them before the year, and as the season went on, that stock rose drastically. Now, whenever you’ve made the profit you are looking for, you offload that stock. Obviously, the Patriots don’t win the Super Bowl, but you still made money off of them in that market. You can decide when you are ready to sell, or set a target price, and as you sit on your couch on a random Sunday, that stock price reaches your number, and boom. Cash in your pocket. It’s a beautiful thing. They have markets for the Super Bowl, win totals, awards, divisions, fantasy leaders, and much more! Los Angeles Chargers NFL Champion (5¢)

This is equivalent to buying the Chargers at +1772 in traditional odds. There are few teams I’m more excited for in 2026 than the Los Angeles Chargers. One of the better defenses in the league, this team has elite coaching. The addition of Mike McDaniel should push this offense over the edge. Herbert is already an established star. Omarion Hampton showed he could be elite if he can stay healthy and watch out behind this rebuilt offensive line. Ladd McConkey is a star at receiver, Quinten Johnston showed signs of life, and rookie Tre’ Harris flashed in 2025. Adding David Njoku across from Oronde Gadsden, who I expect to have a breakout season, gives McDaniel a ton of weapons to play with.

The biggest question about this team: can they get it done in the postseason? Justin Herbert hasn’t fared well in the playoffs. Well, that doesn’t matter when it comes to this prediction. It should be a great start to the season for Los Angeles. They kick things off with Arizona and Las Vegas. That’ll get the hype train rolling. If they can come close with Buffalo on the road and either beat them or the Seahawks at home, stock will soar. Once the hype train is really rolling, cash out and take the payday. It’s never a bad idea to buy a second set of stock to save and sell again later, or hold for the ultimate payout too.

Last Undefeated Team Philadelphia Eagles (7¢)

Philadelphia is an intriguing team in this market. The NFL schedule makers weren’t kind to many teams, and everyone seems to have tough games early. Detroit is the favorite in this category because they have a pretty easy schedule. But Week 2 at Buffalo to open the Bills’ new stadium could quickly knock them off this list. Philadelphia is always a good team; they have coaching and quarterback stability. Things that help teams get off to good starts. At an equivalent of +1240, it’s a great time to get in. Last year, they faced the Cowboys, Chiefs, Rams, and Buccaneers in the first four weeks and still managed to start 4-0.

This year, they start with Washington at home, then Tennessee on the road. Week 3 will be a tough one in Chicago, but if they can get past that game, a lot of teams will have chalked up their first loss, and value will be on the rise. Los Angeles’ Rams will be a tough opponent in Week 4 at home, but Philadelphia beat them last year. If they start 4-0, it’s Jacksonville, Carolina, Dallas, Washington, and the Giants before a Week 10 buy. The Philly run could go on for quite some time. After Week 3 or Week 4, their value should skyrocket and be the right time to sell.

Seattle Seahawks 10+ Wins – NO (36¢)

I am out on this Seattle team in 2026. They had an amazing season last year that culminated in a Super Bowl title, and nobody can take that away. But losing Klint Kubiak will be a huge blow to this offense. They lost some of the key pieces they lost in the offseason. Then add in that they are in the toughest division in football. It’s going to be hard to repeat coming off a Super Bowl hangover. Call Sam Darnold Vanilla Ice if you want, but I think we heard his one hit last season. The reason I like grabbing this at the price equivalent to +165, I think they’ll have their share of struggles.

New England is going to be pissed off and looking for Super Bowl revenge in Week 1. After they play Arizona in Week 2, it’s a potentially rough road ahead. From Week 3 through Week 8, before they face Arizona again in Week 9, Seattle has to face the following. At Washington, Los Angeles Chargers, San Francisco, at Denver, Kansas City, and Chicago. They could be 3-5 or 4-4 after eight weeks, and it wouldn’t really be that crazy with all the off-season overhaul and losing Kubiak. Suddenly, them getting 10+ wins isn’t looking so good. We’re now holding the bag on the no side of the ballgame.
