2026 World Cup – Quarterfinals Futures

France to Reach the Finals (-120)

As much as it’s fun to root for upsets, the table seems to be set for France to walk their way to a championship game. While Morocco has put together some lockdown defense, they lack the firepower to hang with France. Kylian Mbappe is going to keep the pressure high on them for the entirety of this game – much like he did with Paraguay.

The semifinals will be tougher, but both Spain and Belgium have shown cracks in the armor in ways that France has not. Look for them to cruise to the finals without much of a sweat.

Norway to Reach the Semifinals (+180)

We wrote about this one when the knockout stage had just started and got it at +500. We got it again during the round of 16 at +475. Now we’re running it again with just a single game to go and I still believe there is value on it.

After tearing apart Brazil, there is no reason to get off the bandwagon now. My belief that the offense was just too big and too powerful for a smaller set of backs was spot on. While England has a bit more size back there, I don’t think they have the speed to deal with what Norway brings. Jordan Pickford has yet to post a clean sheet and that’s bad news when you’re about to face one of the more high powered offenses in the tournament.

Argentina to Have Most Goals (+150)

This is another one that we’re willing to double down on. We wrote about this one after the round of 16 when it was at +330. There is still more to like about this number, even with half of its value gone.

They used the round of 16 to tie up the score with France, and I still like the looks of their side of the bracket better. France has a game with a tough defense in Morocco next and then possibly Spain. Argentina should rip apart Switzerland in such a way that you might not really have to worry about how deep they get in this tournament.

Erling Haaland – Most Goals (+700)

Every futures article deserves one longshot that has a decent chance at cashing. Consider the lines we’re seeing on Haaland, which are way too wide. Right now he finds himself just a goal behind Lionel Messi (+120) and tied with Kylian Mbappe (+140). His last showing against Brazil showed that he is willing to take some chances and take over the big games – something we hadn’t really seen him in. Now he has another big one against a British squad that has shown some issues on defense. That seems like an ideal spot for him to pick up some ground, and you’re going to want the value before he does.
