Daily NBA Player Props – June 5th
Dylan Harper – Over 4.5 Rebounds (-123)
We hit on the over with the Harper combination in Game 1, but we’ll get a little more specific in this one. A big part of the reason why that PRA line looked so playable was that he has been all over the glass lately. He’s hit this number in five straight games and has had six or more rebounds in each of the last four. With eight boards in Game 1, I don’t see him cutting that number in half here. That’s especially true given the amount of burn he’s getting lately.
Landry Shamet – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (+165)
Maybe you didn’t come to a Game 2 article looking for Landry Shamet plays, but that’s exactly what you’ve found. Before you skip ahead and look for the superstar at the end of this article, consider just how consistent Shamet has been from beyond the arc. He’s had at least three makes in five of his last six games. In that span, he’s had four three times as many as he’s hit the under. With six attempts in Game 1, why wouldn’t he keep that going?
Jalen Brunson – Over 25.5 Points (-103)
Okay, here’s that superstar play that you were looking for. It’s obviously Brunson’s squad and they are going to live and die by him in this series. He took 31 shots in Game 1, which includes nine from beyond the arc. I’m not sure he’ll keep up volume like that for the entire series, but I’m also not sure that he won’t. Regardless, 25.5 seems like a ridiculously low total for someone looking to put the team on his back.
