Daily NBA Player Props – June 3rd
Devin Vassell – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (+100)
Vassell closed out the Western Conference Finals looking pretty rough beyond the arc. He only hit this number in one of the last four games of that series. However, overall, he did go 4-3 against this number in that series and averaged three makes per game. More importantly, even when they weren’t falling, he was still getting the attempts. He averaged 7.6 attempts per game and only dipped below a half dozen in one game. If he keeps up that volume, he should get the over to cash here.
OG Anunoby – Under 15.5 Points (-118)
While Anunoby was a big part of the Cavaliers sweep in the Eastern Conference Finals, his style of play seems to not match up well here. He’s a guy who likes to get dirty in the paint, put up some second chance points, and draw some contact. With the best defensive player in the league in the paint to deter him, I just don’t feel like he’ll get up as many shots. Being that he only went 2-2 in the last series and averaged just 16.3 points per game, you have to fade with the matchup.
Dylan Harper – Over 17.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-112)
Harper has been extremely busy on the boards in the last few games. He’s had at least six rebounds in every single one of those games. If he were to be able to replicate that in this one, he would only need 12 points and assists to cash. During the last series, he averaged 12.0 points per game. That leaves him with the over even if he were to not get any assists. I love that wiggle room on this prop.
