Toronto Tempo vs New York Liberty
Start Time: 7:30 PM EST
I’ve been making – and winning – a fair amount of plays on my new “hometown” team, the Toronto Tempo, early in the franchise’s first season. This isn’t surprising, as I expected them to be better than predicted, and the lines and bettors haven’t caught up yet (the same situation as the Golden State Valkyries last season).
Despite being on the road, tomorrow is another one of those days where the value is on the Tempo side of the line. While Toronto has been better than most expected, the opposite can be said for the New York Liberty, who have been slow out of the gate and share a 5-4 record with Toronto. But at least Sabrina Ionescu is expected back for the Liberty tomorrow – maybe.
My line is New York -6.5, so I’ll take the Tempo plus the points, thank you very much.
