2026 Top NFL Quarterback Futures

Matthew Stafford Passing Touchdowns – Under 30.5 (-115)

We’ll start our NFL quarterback futures bets with statistically one of the best quarterbacks last year, Matthew Stafford. He finished the season with 4,707 passing yards and 46 passing touchdowns. Just four passing touchdowns shy of 50. This year, his passing total is set at 30.5. You may think the smash play is the over, since he just threw for 46. However, I’m taking the under.

Stafford is still performing at a high level. However, in his older age, health is not a guarantee. In fact, he’s only finished every game of the season three of the last six years. Granted, he hasn’t missed a ton of time each year, but still, it has been time missed.

Surprisingly, Stafford has only thrown over 30 passing touchdowns in four of his 17-year career. Therefore, I’m going to go with how the majority of the seasons have gone, and ride the under.

Bryce Young Passing Yards – Over 3074.5 (-110)

For the next NFL quarterback futures pick, we’re looking at Bryce Young. Young is entering his fourth season in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers. Surprisingly, he has yet to eclipse 3,074.5 yards. Not a great look for a guy that the Panthers gave up so much in order to draft first overall.

However, last year I thought he showed some progression in his development. He flashed more than he has so far in the NFL. This offseason, the Panthers did right by their franchise quarterback. They bolstered the offensive line in free agency and in the draft. They also brought in another weapon in Tennessee wide receiver Chris Brazzell. He’s drawn comparisons to Christian Watson.

With another year under his belt and a look that he’s starting to settle, this improved offensive line should help Young get over 3500 passing yards. Over 3074.5 passing yards at -110.

Caleb Williams Passing Yards – Over 3599.5 (-110)

If you listen to Old-Fashioned Football, you’ve already heard this as one of my favorite quarterback futures of the offseason. Caleb Williams threw for 3,541 passing yards in Matt Eberflus’ system in his rookie season. Last year, under Ben Johnson, his numbers popped up to 3,942.

I know he lost DJ Moore. However, I don’t expect him to throw for over 350 yards less than last year. If anything, I expect him to continue to get better. Another year in Johnson’s system should have Williams taking more steps forward. He may have lost DJ Moore, but he still has a now healthy Rome Odunze, Luther Burden, Colston Loveland, and Cole Kmet. On top of that, don’t rule out Khalif Raymond bringing some sneaky value to the team as well as a complementary piece to the receiving game.

This is probably the one I’m the most confident in. Although I am a Bears fan. So I get it if you doubt it. However, you’re wrong. Smash Williams over 3,599.5 passing yards and cash in Week 14 or 15.

CJ Stroud Passing Touchdowns – Under 22.5 (-120)

The next NFL quarterback futures number I’m looking at is CJ Stroud’s passing touchdowns. Stroud had a phenomenal rookie season, throwing for 4,108 passing yards. He just edged the 22.5 passing touchdowns number that season with 23.

Since then, he’s thrown for 20 passing touchdowns in 2024 and 19 last year. To top it off, they didn’t do a ton of work to help him out in the offseason. Yes, they brought in David Montgomery, who should help the run game as well as the receiving game. However, the problem over the past two years has been Stroud’s offensive line.

They did draft a guard in the first round. However, I don’t think it’ll be enough to immediately improve this team. I’m taking Stroud under 22.5 passing touchdowns until he shows he can go over this number consistently.
