Daily NBA Player Props – May 23rd
Jarrett Allen – Over 12.5 Points (-101)
We cashed on the over for Jarrett Allen’s points in Game 2 and I see no reason to back off it now. He’s been active on the offensive side for the last couple of weeks. In his last five games, he’s 4-1 against this line with a 15.0 average. The Knicks seem locked in on limiting the scoring potential of James Harden, which should leave the big man open for a couple extra looks at home.
Josh Hart – Under 7.5 Rebounds (-130)
Everybody was talking about the big game that Hart had in Game 2. He put up a game-high 26 points and helped lead the Knicks to a 2-0 series lead. However, he simply hasn’t been hot on the boards in some time. He has just 11 total rebounds in this series. Even against the 76ers, who were far worse on the boards, he struggled a bit. He’s 3-5 against this number in his last eight games. With the bigs of Cleveland locked in and looking to get their team on the board, he should hit the under again.
Josh Hart – Over 12.5 Points (-124)
Sticking with Hart, while I do like the under for his rebounds, I think he scoring should stick around. This isn’t just an overreaction to his 26-point game on Thursday, but rather a look at the trajectory of his scoring. He’s put up three consecutive overs for this line with an 18.7 average. He had 15 against the Cavaliers on Christmas Day as well, putting him at 3-1 against Cleveland with this line in 2025-26.
