Daily NBA Player Props – May 13th
Donovan Mitchell – Over 26.5 Points (-119)
Mitchell has decided to take this series into his own hands. After dropping the first two games of the series with an average of 27.0 points per game, he’s scored 39.0 per game in each of the two wins. That also comes with a big spike in shot attempts and getting to the foul line. If Cleveland want to pull ahead, it’ll be leanin on the scoring of Mitchell again Wednesday.
Cade Cunningham – Under 5.5 Rebounds (-140)
In Game 3, Cunningham snagged 10 rebounds en route to a huge triple-double. While that might give bettors of his under some pause here, he’s been absent from the boards in this series otherwise. If we ignore that outlier, his series-high has been just three rebounds. With a need to score and distribute being far more important to the Pistons, you have to imagine he’ll continue his slow rebounding numbers.
Evan Mobley – Over 1.5 Steals (+193)
Defensive props can be finnicky and are usually something I stay away from. However, there is a lot to like here about the steals numbers for Mobley. The Pistons keep trying to weave passes in through the paint and he’s been the beneficiary. As a result, the Cavaliers big man has six steals over his last two games. While that’s a hard one to replicate, this number is too big to pass up.
