Daily NBA Player Props – April 28th
Jayson Tatum – Over 41.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-116)
While the line keeps creeping up on Tatum, we’re still not sure it’s gone high enough on his PRA. Tatum has been a machine since returning from his achilles injury. Last game he netted 30 points leaving him with pretty much nothing he needed to go to fill out the stat sheet. He did manage to dish out 11 dimes and hit his projection with just those two lines. They’ve only increased the target by one here and I think he should easily cover that in a clincher.
Deni Avdija – Over 24.5 Points (+121)
With the season on the line, I’m looking for Avdija to try to take over this game. He has a history of upping his volume in big games with the intention of taking over. With the playoffs on the line in the play-in he shot the ball 22 times and racked up 41 points. In a big Game 1, he shot 21 times and scored 30. With Victor Wembanyama hurt and seemingly an easy game in front of him, he shot just 13 times and scored just 14 points. This is a guy built for big games, and this is a big game.
Victor Wembanyama – Over 26.5 Points (-118)
The aforementioned Victor Wembanyama is making sure he makes one more statement before that MVP award goes out. While the playoffs aren’t supposed to matter, Wemby is clearly putting on a show at this stage. In the two complete games he did play, he’s averaging 31.0 points per game. With the chance to put the Blazers away for the season, I expect him to grab the volume again and give us another 30-point performance.
