Daily NBA Player Props – April 26th
Jayson Tatum – Over 40.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-112)
After taking a slight step back in Game 3, we’ll look for Tatum to hit the prop that he’s been crushing lately. He hit this PRA number in both of the first two games of the series. He also went 6-1 against it down the stretch of the regular season. If the Celtics are going to pull ahead further here, they’ll need Tatum on the boards more frequently. If he cleans the glass a touch more, 41 should be well within reach.
Stephon Castle – Over 17.5 Points (-119)
Castle really stepped up his scoring efforts with Victor Wembanyama on the mend from a concussion. He put up a game-high 33 points in a Game 3 with for the Spurs. Now with Wemby’s pending return, the projection for Castle is plummeting down to the average he has in games with his center active. While his points will definitely take a hit, Castle will likely have to carry some of Wembanyama’s load as he gets his legs back underneath him. Just an extra hoop or two will cover this with no problem.
Jabari Smith Jr. – Over 15.5 Points (-117)
With the series on the line in Game 3, the Rockets let Smith Jr. get more active from beyond the arc. He shot 10 three-pointers – making six of them in the process. That gave him his eight straight game with at least 16 points. Despite that run, we have him set at just 15.5 points for Game 4. I expect him to shoot more in this one, not less. If that’s the case, this should be an early cash.
